The Guitar, Music With Soul!
Through the ages, people have been inspired by music. The seven notes of an instrument have the power to soothe nerves and invoke violence too. The mediums of music are manifold with the main one being the guitar, that's why so many people want to learn to play guitar.
For instance, Summer of 69 by Bryan Adams, which is a classic rock song, would not be the same without the opening guitar notes. The range of notes played on the six strings of a guitar is enormous. Be it strumming on an acoustic guitar at home or listening to the electric guitar in a concert, the guitar has a way of putting you at ease, or setting your pulse racing!

The Basics Of The Guitar
The guitar is an instrument that holds six strings on a long wooden fret board. The fret board of an acoustic guitar has 19-20 frets, and the electric 21-24. The top of the instrument is called the headstock and uses tuning keys to tighten or loosen strings for tuning purposes. The reason for the emergence of sound from a guitar is the wavelength, frequency and resonance of sound waves.
Playing any song on the guitar includes two components. One is the lead and the other is the rhythm, with the core tune of the song being its lead. An acoustic or electric guitar is used to play both the lead and rhythm, these can also be combined with the bass to give the music extra dimensions.
It's different if you want to learn the bass guitar, as it has four instead of six strings and a longer fret board. The lead and bass played by two guitarists at the same time gives the song a feel of completion. Various "pick-ups" used by guitarists like distortion pedals help in creating various sound effects.
