What Do You Get with Guitar Instruction Software?

So, since you are hungry for information concerning guitar instruction software, I am here to tell you exactly what you will get with the best software online.

With guitar instruction software, you will have access to a giant library of streaming videos and tutorials that take you through every step of the learning process. The library is always fresh and updated! The lessons and tutorials are taught by experienced musicians. Believe me, these guys (and girls) are meant to teach the instrument. Click here to see the instructors and read about them.

Also with guitar instruction software, you will have the "jam station" that has over two-hundred professional backing tracks. This is one of the quickest, most effective ways to learn to improvise in a wide variety of musical styles.

With guitar instruction software, you get a metronome with a special feature called Speed Drill that increases the beat while you play along, which challenges you to improve your ability every day. All parameters are customizable, including time signature, speed increase amount, speed increase frequency, beat sample, and accent sample. This is a big benefit because any guitar player can learn how to keep time properly with this nifty tool.

Also with guitar instruction software comes a Tuner! That's right, you will be able to tune your axe (guitar) up right from your computer. There are a wide variety of tunings available through this tool. There is no need to drop $50 on a tuner and batteries.

A video player can be found with online guitar instruction software. There is hotkey support and a bunch of repeat functions that allow you to concentrate on the fingerboard and keep your hands off the mouse. This is just a few of the many bonus features that come with guitar instruction software.

Guitar Instruction Software - Beginners start here!

Let me show you how to position yourself when you play guitar!

So, since free tutorials are so popular these days, I thought I should do the world a favor by teaching everyone how to actually play the guitar. Learning how to play a guitar is much more complex than just picking up the guitar and strumming away; so, pay attention and I will get you started right now. Grab your guitars, beginners. Experts, critique me, please. This is for both electric and acoustic guitar players.

To play the guitar the right way:

-When seated, sit with your back straight and get your back off of the chair. This also builds good posture!

-When standing, make sure that your guitar sits comfortably high up (a little above your waist). Adjust your strap so that your guitar doesn't hang super low or super high.

-To properly strum chords, you might want to rest your arm on the top sides and use your forearm to strum up and down. Note: play chords with your wrist off the guitar.

-When playing one or two strings, you strum with your wrist resting on the guitar somewhere next to the bridge. Hint: Put your wrist on top of the strings that you don't play at that time.

-Hold your pick with the thumb, index finger, and middle finger. Don't grip it too tightly. Relax your hand.
