Guitar Hero for Wii

Guitar Hero for Wii comes packed and ready with three bosses that you can unlock and uses throughout the game, Lou, Slash and Tom Morello. Trick is you've got to do some stuff to get them out of the box and use them for yourself. What stuff you might say, you gotta beat them in the Boss battles while you play in career mode. Once you beat them and are still in career mode, simply go back to the shop and pick them up, for a nominal fee of course:

Lou: 15G's ($15,000) from your money stash.
Slash: 10G's ($10,000) from your money stash.
Tom Morello: 10G's ($10,000) from your money stash.

Guitar Hero Wii: entering the code
First you'll have to go to "Options" and then "Cheats". Then you will need to scroll down to "Enter Cheats" and hit the Green button on your guitar. Enter one of the cheat codes below. Remember, you need to strum the frets just like you were playing. When finished, hit the "Start" button on the guitar.

Air Guitar to the next level. Don't look funny, you know you've played air guitar before. Well, drop the air and get the stick and do it on Guitar Hero for Wii. Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii is the perfect excuse to draw the blinds, stap on that spandex and big wig you had for Halloween and crank it up.

The guitar hero wii has totally transformed my family. Friday nights are no longer movie nights for this household. It's a virtual "Battle of the Bands"! Between my wife and I duking it out as to who can maintain the best riffs and the competition between my 12 year old son and 6 year old daughter, it's simply fierce.  It's gotten to the point where we have to draw straws to see who plays who and who goes first.

Here's what a typical Friday night holds in store. For starters, it's definitely the night we order in. Neither mom nor dad have time to prepare the traditional meal as that would lead to a disturbance in the backstage "warm-up" set, that we all get. Then it's off to the challenges. It's kind of embarrassing to say but we've actually had to flip coins to see who'd get the door when the food arrived.

Then the sets and jam sessions begin. The lights dim, the surround sound is turned up and...yeah we start with encores first. You get to eat dinner between your sets. We have fun with it and hit the lighters every once in a while as well. The 3 year old just jumps around and does her best air guitar session you could ever hope to see

You have just been challenged. Well, whoever says it first after the encores, they get to pick who they'll go up against. This happens throughout the evening and sometimes till the wee hours. It's been an awesome little investment that definitely brings us all together, as a family. Guitar hero for the Wii is just simply awesome.

Absolutely included, free of charge, in Guitar Hero for Wii, you can unlock ten extra guitars. Of course you gotta play the game to unlock them and these are a little different. Some skills are difficult while others aren't that hard. Master them all and you can unlock the following ten superb guitars for your copy of Guitar Hero for Wii.

Bat Guitar: (Career mode) Acquired by getting 5 stars on every song on "Easy" difficulty.

Moon Shot Guitar: (Career mode) Beat it on the "Easy" difficulty.

Nemesis 13 Guitar: (Co-Op Career mode) Beat it on any of the difficulties.

Saint George Guitar: (Career mode) Beat it when playing on "Medium" difficulty.

Jolly Roger Guitar: (Career mode) Get five stars on every song when you're playing on "Medium" difficulty

Tiki Guitar: (Career mode)Get five stars on every song when playing on the "Hard" difficulty.

Rojimbo Guitar: (Career mode) Beat it on "Hard" difficulty.

Radioactive: (Co-Op Career mode) Beat it on "Hard" difficulty.

Radioactive: (Co-Op Career mode) Beat it on "Hard" difficulty.

Risk Assessment Guitar: (Career mode) Complete "Expert" difficulty.
