Guns N' Roses Use Your Illusion T-Shirt
The artwork from the Use Your Illusion album was created from Raphael's "The School of Athens" painting, a commission painting done for the Vatican. This particular painting is considered to be Raphael's masterpiece painting, and includes paintings of several philosophers and artists in the work. The boy sitting is a young student, with an unidentified person leaning over him while he writes (one of the few unidentified people in the School of Athens painting). The Use Your Illusion artwork was created by Estonian American artist Mark Kostabi. Each of the albums had this artwork, but one with a warm color scheme, one cool.

A classic Guns N' Roses song from Appetite for Destruction
Sweet Child O' Mine was one of the last tracks for the Appetite for Destruction album to be written. Initially a goof toss away riff that Slash was playing, Axl heard part of the riff and had Slash keep playing it. From there, the song evolved and Axl wrote the lyrics, inspired by his then girlfriend Erin Everly (this is the story - so they say).

- I think it's important that we reintroduce bands like Guns and Roses to our children. It really hurts to see the crap they push on our kids today. My parents would tell me to turn down my loud music. Now my kids tell me to do the same. What's up with that?
