Rootin'-Tootin', Shootin', Gun-Totin' Cartoon Characters
Vintage cartoon "carriers" have been frequent throughout the years. Their gun lust is evident. At any rate, they never seemed to be lacking ammunition nor the will to use weapons of force. Perhaps, they helped give rise to the popularity of toy cap guns. As humorous as they might have been, they meant "business." But oddly enough, they never hurt anyone. I suppose, they just liked to scare the crap out of their "opponents." All things considered, they were "awfully" entertaining. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this comical retrospective slant.
