I have found that thru the years as a competitive gymnastics parent that the sport of gymnastics is a real head game. These girls and boys have to be in supreme physical shape full of strength and flexibility. What those on the outside of gymnastics don't realize is that gymnastics takes more mental strength that any other sport I can think of. The fears that have to be overcome are enormous! I have run a booster club in the past and was always trying to find ways to boost the girl's spirits up after a hard practice or meet. I think you can do a lot with gymnastics quotes and sayings; from a simple card to a neat poster with their own picture on it. I have made a few posters and included some great sayings for gifts. What better way to show your support than to give your son or daughter a poster of themselves with an inspirational quote on it that they can hang in their room and see every night!

Once you find a great saying or quote you can do so many things with it. It can even be a saying your gymnast might repeat often that you use. Not only can you do posters and cards but you can eave her an inspirational message in her gym bag when you know she is having a hard time at practice getting a new skill, write it in her school notebook or even leave her a post on her social website page. A few simple meaningful words can really make the day of gymnast!
