Why Squidoo is Fast Becoming THE Marketing Strategy Giant
Ranked #1,181 in Squidoo Tips, #239,188 overall
Squidoo Works
While many marketers know about the power of Twitter,
Digg, Stumble, Delicious, Reddit, Facebook, MySpace, AddsYou,
Posterous, Blogger, Wordpress, Ning, and other popular ways to get
backlinks; And some know about Bazooka Buzz, DZone, Lipstick, Google,
Sphinn, and the dynamics of blogs, feeds, listbuilding, and email
marketing; Few (until now) have caught on to the extraordinary
results generated by Squidoo. While many have signed up on Squidoo
they have not fully optimized the countless opportunities that exist
(and are continuously being added) to the platfore. Squidoo is Web
2.0 at its best! And you do not need to be a webpage guru to learn
to use it. The only thing (to my knowledge) that isn't forgiving
(that you can not change) is your URL for each Squidoo Lens (page),
other than that, you can change anything later. My Tip for
you...consider this; Why not Begin with Squidoo
as your springboard for any or all of the rest? Sign up for New
Squid Class Emails (free), Get involved in the SquidU forum, take
a look at the Squidoo Answer Deck (hundreds of lenses that show you
How To Squidoo), and allow yourself to grow as you go.
Squidoo
is free, fun, dynamic, powerful, multi-dimensional, continuously
developing and expanding to add even more options for stategic
expansion, and most importantly generates
results. This lens will highlight some of the ways you can use
Squidoo to create your own backlink empire. You can create a Cash
Flow (using the dynamic integration of marketing your business, blog,
or online galleries), Promote fund
raisers for Charity, or a combination of both. For even more
information be sure to opt in for the New
Squid Class Emails (free). For more information about the New
Squid Class Emails (free) visit GypsyOwl's "You
Have Wanted to Join Squidoo..." Lens.

Tip #1
Did this help you get started?
I remember when I was first invited to Squidoo (in January 2007), I signed up and took a quick look at the site. My first impression was "...I do not need another blog." In May 2008 I revisited the site and started looking at what others were doing. I created a lens "Go With The Flow vs Be In Your Flow" , found the resources available (answer deck, squidU, Squid Citizens, Giant Squid Organizers, Blogs, etc), and did a mindmap of the topics I was going to explore. In 60 Days I was honored by the title Giant Squid. 3 Months later, I was once again honored with the title "Giant Squid 100 Club" member. Now (January 2008), after 8 months of integrating the Squidoo resources with my personal, business, marketing, and educational experience, I have started to pave the Squidoo trail and continually develop more ways to optimize the platform.
Do You Squidoo?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byYes! I Squidoo and continuously find new ways to maximize results.

I've done ten lenses & am just starting to see some income. It's been a very big time investment but my hopes are high for the future. The next few months will tell me whether I'm on the right tram.

Not yet! I am considering it and might build my first lens today.

- Top lens! Your headline really got me in. As a copywriter, I'm most impressed when that happens. Jolly nice work! P. :)

GypsyOwl Connections - Blog
This 'Blog' was created to feed Squidoo Lenses
The GypsyOwl Connections Blog is part of the strategy mix that you will learn on this lens. The blog was created for the purpose of 'feeding' lenses. By using the RSS FEED module and adding this module to every lens, you can post to all of your lenses with one blog entry. The best part is, since it is YOUR blog and you control the content, you can also select the option to post everything available and enable HTML (which will include images and links from your blog onto your lens).
This works best when you are posting seasonal greetings, updating copyrights, installing stat counters, communicating about a new find on the web, or a new product/service that you have discovered. Why not include this strategy into your creative process in addition to any other updates that you create?
