Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009)

Hachi: A Dog's Tale also known as Hachiko: a Dog's Story is the remake of a Japaneses file release in 1987. This is a delightful movie based on a true story about a real dog in Japan in the 1920's.

It is a story about a music professor, Parker Wilson (Richard Gere) who takes in a little lost puppy (a Japanese Akita).The story is about the unbreakable bond that the two develop. Because of this bond that they have, The dog would meet Parker daily at the railway station at the same time. Even after the man passes away, the dog goes to the station and waits patiently for his owner to come back. This dog actually waits for him for nearly 10 years. Over the years the Hachi touches the lives of many people.

I warn you although this is an amazingly heart warming story it is also a real tearjerker. Be sure to have some tissue handy.
