welcome
hello. :) thanks for dropping by this particular haiku poem squidoo lens.
here, i post some of the haikus from my haiku poem blog. i'm just learning to write these, so i have a lot of improving to do. nonetheless, i hope that you'll find these haiku poem examples helpful, or at least a bit entertaining. :)
also, please feel free to drop by my primary haiku poem blog. :) the link is in my bio. i have more haikus there, and i try to get in at least one new one per day.
thanks again for dropping by.

just one more quick thing... :)
i find that i enjoy writing haikus the most when i work within the 3 line, 5-7-5 syllable structure, so that's what i do. of course, that's by no means mandatory when it comes to writing these short poems. i do this by choice.
**** update!
i've changed my mind. :D now, i take the 17 syllable structure as more of a guideline, but if i can have a haiku with even fewer syllables, that would be better. i try to go for a one breath poem. still using three lines though. :)

- I love your haiku verses!!! I've opened a lot of pages and read a lot of rubbish until I run into you. Keep writing them girl, you are talented...
I just started writing myself, and here's mine:
Scattered dirty socks
Empty nail polish vial
Not ours, mine and yours.
I don't know if it's any good, but I like it!
Best Regards ;)
