Hair, My Favorite Movie of All Time
Hair is absolutely my favorite movie.
The movie takes place during the Vietnam war and the hippie period. It's a magical movie with incredible music and dancing and very colorful costumes.
Hair is about a young man named Claude that arrives in New York City on the way to join the Vietnam War. When he arrives in New York he meets a group of hippies, befriends them and has lots of interesting adventures. The hippies are against the war, but Claude is determined to fight.
I won't give away the ending, but it's a tearjerker.

The Music is Fantastic!!
The songs on the soundtrack are amazing. The movie starts off with Acquarius and ends with Let The Sunshine In.Some of the songs have some foul language in them so this soundtrack is definitely not for children.
The actors sing the songs beautifully and by the time you're done listening you'll be singing the songs over and over again.
The following is a list of the songs you'll find on the soundtrack:
- Acquarius
- Sodomy
- Donna
- Hashish
- Colored Spade
- Manchester England
- I'm Black
- Aint Got No
- I Got Life
- Hair
- Going Down
- Old Fashioned Melody
- Electric Blues
- Where Do I Go
- Black Boys
- White Boys
- Walking In Space
- Easy To Be Hard
- Good Morning Starshine
- Let The Sunshine In

I have to say the Musical, because a) I have never seen the film and b) I saw the ORIGINAL West End production. If my Mum had known what it was about then I dont think she would have let me see it - ha ha!
kimmanleyort says:
The musical, but a little unfair since I haven't seen the movie. I love the music from Hair! Takes me back to my childhood.

- Interesting. When was this movie made? How is it different from the Broadway production. An intriguing lens I'd like to see more of.
