Hair forks are versatile accessories for a variety of elegant and fun long hair styles!
What are Hair Forks?
Hair forks are used in much the same way as hair sticks, as they act like two (or more) parallel hair sticks. They can be used to hold long hair up in a variety of styles of bun. With a little practice, anyone can use them, and long hair then often takes much less time to style than short hair!

Materials Hair Forks Can Be Made From
Wood (domestic, rare and exotic wood species)
Advantages: Beautiful wood grain; different wood species have a range of colors to complement different hair colors; natural material
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for use in wet hair; may break if excessive force used
Dymondwood (compressed sheets of resin-impregnated veneers dyed a range of colors)
Advantages: Huge choice of beautiful colors; very smooth and shiny finish; can be used in wet hair
Disadvantages: Dust and fumes produced when the wood is being worked are toxic; finished products may leach harmful substances
Metal (most commonly nickel silver, bronze or copper)
Advantages: Can be used in wet hair; pretty much indestructible
Disadvantages: Sometimes too 'slippery' in hair; doesn't have wood's choice of colors
The Cinnamon Bun - an Easy Hair Fork Style
Insert the hair fork horizontally first into the outer coil, as if you are about to push it straight into your head. Then rotate so it is vertical going down and start to push it through the bun, 'weaving' it in and out of the bun and scalp hair. This is essential to the hair fork holding your hair. Push it down until it feels comfortable.
