Hair Loss Treatment For Women

Hair loss treatment for women is becoming more and more popular. Around two-thirds of women face hair loss at some point in their lives. Many women find that they start losing hair in middle age, sometimes earlier. It is very common even though it is not usually talked about. Around fifty percent of all women will have some type of pattern baldness.

Most people associate hair loss or baldness with men, maybe with the exception of certain pop stars who shave their heads, but it really is becoming more prevalent in women and of course it is more distressing for women as most men actually look ok and even better with no hair. A recent survey in the US actually resulted in seventy percent of women stating they really did not put hair at the top of their requirements for a prospective partner. Now imaging the survey results for the opposite!

So as we can see womens hair loss treatment and cures are very important so if you would like to find hair loss treatment for woman advice then read on..

Hair Loss Women Natural Treatment

Natural Hair Loss

The first step you can take to growing new hair is to change your grooming habits. It is the easiest hair loss treatment for woman of all. Pulling at tangles with combs or brushes weakens the root of the hair, making it fall out. Start using a good detangling conditioner and use a soft brush to stop tangles safely.

To hide hair loss try, dying or perming your hair to add texture, getting a layered cut to add fullness, or blow dry your hair upside down to add more body. If your hair loss was caused by menopause you may want to consider just waiting it out. Most women find that after menopause their hair will regain the fullness it had before.

Some have found that massaging rosemary oil into the scalp can help to re-grow hair. The benefit is two-fold. Rosemary is a natural herb that promotes the growth of hair. The massage stimulates the hair follicles and pours making your scalp healthier. Rosemary oil can be found in most health food stores.

Soy, which boosts levels of estrogen in most women, can be used to combat the effects of hormone-related hair loss. Soy can be taken as a pill, or can be consumed by eating soy cheese, soymilk, or tofu.

Common Treatments

One of the most common, and most publicized treatments for woman's hair loss is the use of minoxidil, better known as the name brand Rogaine. Minoxidil doesn't work on everyone. Those who have had results must continue to use the product throughout their lives to prevent further hair loss.

Hair transplants work better in men than women. Micrograft, the use of single hair grafts, is the most successful hair transplant treatment for hair loss in women.

Another common treatment for women's hair loss is laser treatment. Laser hair loss treatment, also called low level laser therapy, uses the natural benefits of light to help hair grow. Many like it because it is a non-surgical procedure that can be done either in a salon or at home using a hand-held laser called a laser comb.

Rogaine For Women

A Readers Review:

I was a bit skeptical of this product before trying it, even more so when the instructions said that it could take 3-6 months to see any improvement (and then only in a relatively small percentage of users). I guess that I got lucky: it started working for me in about 8 weeks. I know that I have to continue to use it twice daily to keep the improvement, but the improvement is noticeable and welcome! My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that it must be used twice a day, which is occasionally inconvenient, and you have to keep your hair dry for 2 hours after using. Other than that, I'm sold!

Hair Loss and Women

Many women have a hard time dealing with hair loss. Many women believing having full and luscious hair is what makes them part woman. This isn't true, but many women spend millions of dollars every year to help prevent hair loss. Hair loss and women are a combination that nobody wants to mess with because they are usually more sensitive about it than men are. When women lose their hair they tend to become depressed or they over-compensate in other ways such as trying to shampoo excessively or even just giving up and shaving off all their hair. This isn't the way to go, and when women begin hair loss there are some natural and cheap hair loss treatments that should always be considered. Natural hair treatments can be just as effective as hair plugs or expensive medications. Always do your research before you choose a hair treatment, and be sure that it is the right one for you.

What kind of natural treatments are good at treating hair loss in women?

Well, first off there is no sure-fire way to prevent hair loss in women, but there are some excellent ways to help promote healthy hair that can give you real results. Massaging the scalp is a great way to help stimulate the scalp and the hair follicles. This increasing circulation to the scalp and promotes hair growth in mild cases. Even massaging lavender oil and soybean or sesame oil into the scalp is a great way to help prevent hair loss in women. Rosemary, sage, and nettle root are also great herbs in aiding any ladies cosmetic crisis. If you boil rosemary, nettle root, peach leaves, burdock, and sage in a saucepan, and after you have brought it to a boil, pour the remaining liquid into squirt-bottle. You now have an excellent shampoo for helping hair loss in women. Another great herb for getting rid of hair loss is the ancient, traditional Indian herb known as henna. Just by using henna daily as a conditioner can help strengthen your hair, promote hair growth, and keep your hair with a lustrous shine.

What causes hair loss in women?

Hair loss in women can be caused by a number of purposes. Such as chemical dying, this process is rough on hair and can cause excessive hair loss. Another factor is heredity, this can be nearly impossible to go against because it is in your genes. Anther factor is medications, statins and other treatments can cause excessive hair loss.

Hair Loss Reviews A Valuable Resource

Hair Loss Reviews A Valuable Resource

Hair loss reviews can save a consumer a great deal of time and money and can be very important to people who are losing their hair and those who have already lost a great chunk of hair. Men are usually more interested in hair loss reviews because they lose their hair more often than women. However hair loss reviews are important to both men and women because this affliction does happen to both sexes. Men often lose their hair because of heredity while women lose their hair for different reasons.

Hair loss reviews cover many products on the market. Hair loss can not only be traumatic to the person affected but often to their spouse and family. The result is a great competition for the money of those in search of an answer to their problem. Hair loss is often the sign of aging which can make people feel depressed. A person losing their hair looks older than people the same age with a full head of hair.

Hair Loss Reviews Avoid Disappointments

There are different theories that have resulted in products to reverse or reduce hair loss, and the hair loss reviews steer people to the product that will meet their needs. Some of the reviews provide a system to rate the different products with all of the others on the market. These reviews will provide information on the contents of each of the products, and these reviews will make note of any adverse effects that might result from the use of the product. The price for the practical use of the product is also included in the hair loss reviews. One product might be cheaper than another, but that product might require repeated applications in order to be effective.

This is very informative. My wife seems to think her hair is thinning. When you mentioned Minoxidil, which you mentioned is Rogaine, I wasn't aware that is was recommended for women...but it makes sense it would be. I will pass this info to my wife.
Thank you for this helpful info!
