My husband and I are always on the look out for the next GREAT thing that is supposed to stop baldness, regrow hair, etc.

You see, my husband was losing his hair when I met him 28 years ago and now it's almost all gone. We kid that my daughter took his hair when she was born. She has beautiful thick hair ...

Anyway, we have tried all sorts of stuff to stop his hair loss. There are these little round pills (can't remember the name of them) that is Ancient Chinese Medicine (ACM) -- you have to take 15 of these 3 times a day. We shopped at the local Asian Market and stocked up on them. He used these pills for several months, but unfortunately, no go and no hair.

Then we bought this nasty stuff you had to rub into your scalp twice a day. It also had a special shampoo. This was VERY expensive -- around $200, 15 years ago. At first we thought we saw some peach fuze on top of his head. But, it was just wishful thinking.

We've bought and tried all sorts of special shampoos, and none of them worked either.

We stopped short of using Rogaine. He really didn't want to put that on his head.
