Good Lens. It is very informative. People don't know who to donate and you have given good useful information so that they can take a decision. I have created a new lens today. It is called http://www.squidoo.com/shop_now_for_haiti. I have included your lens in my featured lenses. Please check out my lens and link to it please. Thanks.

Very well done and I appreciate this! We were trying to decide which avenue to use. Scam artists will be working this disaster, so we all must be careful that our contributions go to legitmate places. Very important subject!

Very well put together Marelisa. It is such a tragedy what these people are dealing with. My lens is also a charitable lens with all the proceeds going to charity(Hope for Haiti). Together I am sure that we can all make a difference.

This is a great lense on the Haiti relief, I have a comprehensible list of charities on my Haiti lens and what each charity is doing to help the relief effort. I've added your lens to your lens roll and have learned a lot of new things to add to mine as well.

Hi Greekgeek: I didn't know about "Hope for Haiti", but I see that they have a four star rating from Charity Navigator, which is exceptional. I just set this lens to donate any royalties to them and I've included them on the suggested charity organizations I talk about on this lens. And they take Paypal, which is something I was looking for. Thank you.

I donated to Worldvision, because I know they did good work in Indonesia after the tsunami, and they have over 400 agents in Haiti and a lot of supplies already in place -- they had started on relief efforts within 20 minutes of the quake.

Also, just in case you don't know: one of Squidoo's approved charities (meaning they've checked to make sure it's legit) is Hope for Haiti. You can set any lens to donate its earnings to Hope for Haiti in the lens workshop. Go to the sidebar and look down until you see the 'royalties" tab, then click "Straight royalty" and pick "Hope for Haiti" from the pulldown menu. I've made a lens on religion in Haiti and set it to donate its earnings there.
