Do you have a favourite version of the Hallelujah lyrics?
Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah
From the lens How To Play Leonard Cohen Hallelujah Lyrics and Sheet Music.
For me, much as I love Rufus Wainwright's Hallelujah and Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah gives me chills, Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah is his song. The ultimate dark, poetic lyrics of a genius. Thank you Leonard Cohen for recording that first album and introducing a generation to a wonderful sound that went beyond the 1960s folk underground to take the world by storm!

- Thanks so much! My ex-husband father always told us that he was Leonard Cohen's roommate at Harvard - apparently Cohen didn't go to Harvard, so there must be more to the story! Anyway, because he was Canadian and such a wonderful performer and songwriter we listened to a lot of Cohen when I was first married. Gagun (dad in law) is in heaven now, so I'll never be able to get all the details. Angel blessed - for bringing me K.d Lang's version as well as the transposition for other voices you found.
