A Christmas movie with dogs! A Christmas Wedding aired on November 19, 2011.

A Christmas Wedding Tail looks absolutely adorable. The world Premiere is Saturday, November 19, 2011 on the Hallmark Channel. This new movie stars Jennie Garth, Brad Rowe, Tom Arnold, Jay Mohr, Nikki Cox and, of course, some adorable pups. Hallmark says you will fall in love. Judging by this picture from the movie, I am willing to agree. And I am thrilled to note that the DVD for A Christmas Wedding Tail will be released on December 6, 2011 so you can buy it to own or to gift to someone who loves Hallmark movies and dogs.

Debbie Macomber's Trading Christmas (2011)

Is based on the book originally entitled When Christmas Comes. Trading Christmas aired on November 26, 2011.

The storyline of the book follows a widow named Emily who is anticipating Christmas and discovers that her daughter Heather is coming home from university for the holiday. However, it turns out that her daughter does not plan on spending Christmas with her Mom, so the mother winds up deciding to visit her daughter as a surprise in Boston. She arranges a house exchange for two weeks with a professor who does not like Christmas. The tangled web just grows ever more tangled when Emily's friend Faith decides to visit Emily and finds the professor instead.

Thus far, it seems as though the movie will follow the goings on of the book, which inevitably leads to romance when Emily swaps her house. By the way, I read and enjoyed the book lately. It is a nice light and sometimes funny Christmas novel that is perfect to put you in the spirit of Christmas.

Annie Claus is Coming to Town aired on December 10, 2011.

A Princess for Christmas (2011)

"Open your heart, find your destiny, discover who you really are."

This romantic comedy is one of the most exciting movies in Hallmark's 2011 Christmas movie line up, at least for me. Following Hallmark's wonderful tradition of starring well known actors, A Princess For Christmas will star Roger Moore. Add that to the fact that the storyline tells of a young woman travelling with her niece and nephew to a CASTLE in Europe, and I think you have the makings of an interesting movie. And yes, there is a prince...all princesses need a prince, don't they?

Filming of A Princess for Christmas is taking place in Romania at Peles Castle, the Stirbei Castle, the Bragadiru Palace and MediaPro Studios. This film was originally titled Christmas at Castlebury Hall and is slated to air on December 3, 2011.

Christmas Pageant (2011)

"Life's unexpected turns can lead to wonderful new beginnings. "

Christmas Pageant stars Melissa Gilbert, making this movie of particular interest to me because I grew up watching her on television in Little House on the Prairie. This film tells the story of a woman who has a bad reputation as a hard-to-work-with theature director and who is forced to move to a small town and direct the Christmas pageant there. Naturally, she learns about herself, remembers what it is like to enjoy a pageant and finds love.

Cancel Christmas (2011)

Cancel Christmas airs on November 13, 2011.

Jingle All The Way (2011)

Hallmark's new animated Christmas television special.

Jingle All the Way is a 30-minute animated Hallmark Christmas special that features Jingle the Husky pup (shown here), an already known and beloved Hallmark character. Jingle is a good dog who does whatever he is asked. However, what he cannot do is go home for he does not actually have a home. This year, in what is seen as an exciting marriage of Hallmark's card and movie divisions, Jingle will come home to the Hallmark Channel.

Those who loved Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle will no doubt love the 2010 Christmas movie, Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle 2. This movie is set at Christmastime in New York City. An opinionated saleswoman in a department store decides that it could use a bit of magic at holiday time and works to create a hot toy for her boss. She also takes control of things at the store and helps a romance between the assistant of a fashion designer and her nephew, working hard to ensure a great Christmas happens for everyone.

The original movie, Mrs. Miracle, aired on the Hallmark Channel on December 5, 2009 and is billed as Hallmark's highest rated film from 2009. It features a single dad who cannot locate a housekeeper for his twin sons. A magical housekeeper arrives and helps him move forward from his wife's death and find new love. He needed a miracle and Mrs. Merkle, referred to as Mrs. Miracle by the children, was the one who provided one. This movie is available now from Amazon and was released November 16, 2010.

November Christmas (2010)

November Christmas aired on the CBS television network on Sunday, November 28th.

In the new Hallmark Hall of Fame production, November Christmas, the Rhode Island family of a little girl who has cancer works to celebrate Christmas in the summer so that their daughter might enjoy it. Aided by an older couple and eventually the entire town, they manage to do so, creating both a Halloween and a Christmas that are special.

The cast includes John Corbett, Sam Elliott, Karen Allen, Sarah Paulson and Emily Alyn Lind and the film was filmed in Wolfville, Canada.

It shares the story of a journalist who is skeptical but given the task of covering the 50th birthday of Kris Kringle. As she covers the story, the wonders of Christmas enter her heart.

The Santa Incident (2010)

The Santa Incident aired on the Hallmark Channel on Thursday, December 9, 2010.

When Santa becomes stuck in a small town because his sleigh is thought to be a UFO, two children rescue him and they try to prepare for Christmas far from the North Pole. To save Christmas, Santa has to figure out a way to fly again before Christmas arrives. The Santa Incident stars Lone Skye and Greg Germann.

Three Wise Women (2010)

A successful doctor in her thirties is unaware that the man she is about to marry is less than ideal. However, her guardian angel travels through time and employs the doctor as both a teenager and as an older woman to help her avoid marrying the wrong man. Three Wise Women stars Fionnula Flanagan, Amy Huberman, Hugh O'Connor, Lauren Coe and John Rhys Davies.
