Pumpkin Cake Recipe
Bake A Pumpkin Cake with a Pumpkin Pan
- Serves: a Bunch
- Prep Time: 10 to 15
- Total Time: 2 hours
This is an easy Pumpkin Cake Recipe and will work well for any Halloween party, or Fall Gathering.
The Recipe Makes-
2 loaf pans
2 9 inch round pans
1 9 x 13 pan
18 - 24 cupcakes
Use Canned Pumpkin, not Canned Pumpkin Pie Stuff.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 Cup Oil
- 2 Cup Canned Pumpkin
- 3 Cups Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 3/4 tsp. Baking Powder
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Mace
- 1 tsp Ginger
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
spray your pan with non stick spray stuff
Blend oil and sugar well, add eggs and beat until light. Add pumpkin, mix well.
Sift together dry ingredients, and add to pumpkin mixture.
Beat at low speed until blended
Pour into prepared pans
325 degrees for approx 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean, 30 minutes for cupcakes
leave in pan 15 min before removing from pan
cool completely before frosting
