Yes, you want your little darling to look adorable in her Halloween costume, but if she can't walk because her outfit is too tight or if she can't see because her mask is covering her eyes, it's not a good idea.

Modify the outfit to your dog's size and shape. Most costumes come in small, medium, and large, so you can find the exact fit that your dog needs.

While everyone is busy partying, your dog may start gnawing on his costume and swallow a piece of it.

It's best to have your dog arrive at a party dressed, let everyone fawn all over him, take lots of pictures, and then take the costume off him for the rest of the night. Even the most tolerant and well behaved dog can't stay the whole evening in a costume without trying to bite it off.
