I made these easy ghost cupckaes on a day when there was absolutely no time for advanced cake decorating ideas that required spending hours of time shaping and molding fondant. Black licorice twists
Black jelly beans
Red jelly beans or gumdrops

Put the candy sprinkles, cat's whiskers, ears and eyes in bowls.

To make the black cat's ears, bend the licorice twists into a V shape and insert two of these shapes in the top portion of the frosted cupcake.

To make the cat's eyes, place two of the (green? red?) jelly bean halves where the eyes should be.

Use the red gumdrops to make the cat's nose and stick a few pieces of licorice in place as the whiskers.
