Halloween Drinks Decor

Halloween Drinks Presentation

When serving Halloween drinks you need to put something of the spirit of the holiday into serving them. If you don't want to create specific Halloween Cocktails then at least rename the drinks you usually serve to sound 'spooky'.

The use of Halloween stemware, ice cubes and other little tricks can really get your guests talking for years to come.

Ice Anyone?

Spooky Ice for Your Halloween Drinks

Brain Freeze Ice Cubes

Brain Freeze Ice Cubes

There are a number of ways that you can add some Halloween flavor to your ice and the simplest is with the use of ice cube trays such as these.....

Another trick for the punch bowl is to fill rubber gloves with water (washing them out thoroughly first of course) and form frozen hands, some of the fingers may snap off when you try and unglove your frozen hands, but these also add to a great effect when floating about in your Halloween party punch. You can add food coloring to make the 'frozen hands' appear pink or grey depending on the illusion you want to create.
Another great way of adding a 'buggy' effect to your drinks is with these bugs floating around! Wash them throughly and then add them to ice trays when you're making up your ice cubes. If you wanted to add something edible then gummi worms are also a nice touch in ice cubes.

Vampire Ice Cubes

Vampire Ice Cubes

Using the vampire ice cube molds I would get some red gel food coloring and as I was getting the ice out of the mold before putting it into the drink just put a spot or two of the red gel on the end of one of the 'teeth'. This looks awesome and when you drop it into a drink the red will swirl around creating quite an illusion........especially in a milky drink.

Coffee Beans Ice Cubes

Cool Coffee Bean Ice Cubes

Sometimes when it comes to decorating drinks you have to think outside the square, for example these ice cubes look just like coffee beans don't they? Now imagine if you added red food coloring to the water before putting it in these coffee bean trays, you could then add them into a clear drink and it would give the illusion of blood drops.
