Halloween Inflatable Decorations
Halloween Inflatable Decorations - Halloween Yard Inflatables
Looking for new 2011 Halloween Inflatable Decorations to add to your collection? They're here - ghosts, pumpkins, witches and even a ghostly motorcycle.
I don't know if it's just me or not, but the choice of yard inflatables doesn't seem to be the only thing that's growing. Gemmy, the largest manufacturer of the yard inflatables we love so much, seems to be making them bigger and better than ever.
If you were so inclined - if you were, for instance, like Tim the Toolman at Christmas when it comes to your Halloween decorations, there are even GIANT inflatables that I believe are as tall as my house. I'm not sure I'd ever go that far, but I know a few friends whose eyes got as big as...well...Frankenstein's bolts at the thought.

Giant Halloween Inflatable Decorations

Giant Inflatable Grim Reaper
At 7' tall, this is an impressive yard decoration. The Grim Reaper pops a wheelie on his own hot rod. Decoration is well it and made of durable nylon. Inflates easily.

Halloween Decorations 7' Tall Animated Airblown Halloween Inflatable Skeleton Playing Organ
A giant, inflatable organ is played by a creepy, animated skeleton. The display is self-lit and actually plays real, spooky music!

Giant Inflatable Black Cat
This giant black cat has glowing eyes and inflates easily in seconds. The head moves back and forth. It stands over 10 feet tall, is 10 feet wide and 11 feet long. An impressive addition to your Halloween display.
Giant Animated Skull
Inflatable Skull Decoration

Giant Inflatable Animated Skull
If you can only get one inflatable decoration into your yard this Halloween, check out this giant, animated skull. The eyes rotate inside the simple, but creepy skull. The jaw opens and closes in a slow and deliberate fashion. It is 6 feet tall and inflates in a matter of minutes. Super easy to set up. Put an outdoor fog machine nearby and you get a really haunting piece of work. Just check out the video below.
Top Halloween Inflatable Decorations for 2011
Very popular outdoor inflatables
These are some of my top Halloween inflatables for this year. Some traditional, some not so much. Lots of ghosts and scary creatures that kids will really enjoy as they're wandering towards your door for trick-or-treats.

Inflatable Halloween Helicopter
Yard Decoration

Inflatable Halloween Helicopter
Frankenstein is about to make his getaway in this airblown helicopter. It's 5 feet tall and 8 feet long and inflates in seconds. The material is weather resistant so this decoration can be used indoors or outdoors. Stakes and tethers are included to ensure it stays anchored in your hard. The helicopter also lights up so it's easily visible at night.

Smaller inflatables and decorating ideas
Every year, I try to add one new, large decoration to my collection and a number of smaller ones. This keeps my collection growing without breaking the bank.
Having a hard time finding these inflated Halloween decorations in stores this year? Me, too. We've been to several Home Depots and Targets looking and found NONE. You can find a lot of Inflatable Yard Decorations for Halloween
at Walmart but not in their stores, either - online only. Retail stores must be finding that it doesn't pay to use up large amounts of space displaying just a few of these decorations so if you want new ones, don't hesitate to shop online and buy early so you receive them in time.
I try to buy things that will last and then come up with some decorations I can make with my kids each year even if those will only last one year. Our display changes all the time even if the large pieces are the same from year to year.
Our favorite things to add to our outdoor Halloween display are balloon ghosts. Cut up old white sheets and pillowcases and put a small hole in the center of the cloth. Knot some twine through or fishing line through that hole so you have a way to hang the ghost. Inflate a round balloon, cover it with the cut piece of sheet and tie a black ribbon over the sheet at the neck of the balloon. This shapes a ghostly head with a tail of sheets for the body. Have the kids draw on eyes and a mouth. Glue battery powered blinking LED lights under the sheet and flip them on for Halloween. Hang the ghosts from the trees and watch them dance in an evening breeze.
The neighbors came up with the idea of expanding on their inflatable decorations by adding extras that fit the scene. For example, the airblown graveyard looks great with a bag of fake Halloween bones embedded in the grass surrounding the display. Really helps take up space and make more out of the existing arrangement!

- As a Kiwi, Halloween still does not come naturally to me (It's not big in NZ) but I have now been in California for almost 10 years. I have to admit that while Im not into the Trick or Treating, I love seeing people decorate their yards and these Halloween Inflatable Decorations are absolutely gorgeous, and so much fun. Might make a convert of me yet...lol
