Halloween Spooky Party Drinks

YOU WILL NEED:

1/4 cup of honey or corn syrup

12 drops of red food coloring

4 cups of your favorite pineapple juice - It needs to be chilled

6 ounces of frozen limeade concentrate

3 cups of chilled ginger ale

10 Wine Goblets

boldPREPARATIONS:

* Take your honey or corn syrup (whatever it is you are using) and combine it with your red food coloring in a shallow bowl. Mix until is well blended.

* Grab your 10 wine goblets and you are going to dip the rims into the red mixture, one at a time, coating all rims.

* Turn the wine goblets upright and let them stand to allow the red mixture to drip down the sides, resembling blood.

* You may want to place paper towel around the wine goblet's base to catch the red drips, for easy clean up.

* Now, combine your favorite pineapple juice with your frozen limeade in a punch bowl. Stir until the limeade is dissolves.

* Stir now your chilled ginger ale.

* Fill each wine goblet with your Lime Chiller!

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED:

2 cups of boiling water

1 pkg. (8-serving size) lime flavor gelatin - your favorite brand

2 cups of cold orange juice

1 (1 quart/1 liter) bottle seltzer, club soda or lemon-lime soda

chilled Ice cubes

1 pint (2 cups/half liter) orange or lime sherbet, slightly softened

1 orange, thinly sliced

1 lime, thinly sliced

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.

2. Stir in the orange juice. Cool to room temperature.

3. Pour into punch bowl just before serving. Add seltzer (or club soda or lemon-lime soda, if using) and ice; stir.

4. Add scoops of sherbet and fruit slices.

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED:

1 quart fresh orange juice, not from concentrate

1 quart canned, unsweetened pineapple juice

1 quart ginger ale (see tips)

1/4 cup cranberry juice concentrate (see tips)

12 thinly sliced cucumber rounds for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

* Mix orange juice and pineapple juice in a 1/2 gallon pitcher. Chill.

* When ready to serve, use clear glasses to see the "dripping blood" effect.

* Put ice cubes in glasses, then fill glasses 2/3rds full with juice.

* Add enough ginger ale to fill glasses.

*Garnish each glass will a round of cucumber.

* Use a small spoon to slowly drizzle 1 teaspoon of cranberry juice concentrate around the inside rim of each glass and watch the red "blood" drip down the inside of the glass.

Tips:

I used Reed's brand "Ginger Beer"- a non-alcoholic, very flavorful ginger ale made with natural ingredients.

Look for cranberry concentrate at health food stores. It is very tart so don't add more than 1 teaspoon to each glass. It will settle in the bottom of the glass. Use straws to stir and watch the juice turn from orange to dark red.

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED:

12 small clear glasses or wine goblets

Power Lemonade mix enough to make 2 quarts

1/4 cup of sugar

1 teaspoon meringue powder

2 liters of seltzer water

Green food coloring , yellow food coloring

Orange, Lime and Raspberry

Large bowl

INSTRUCTIONS:

* Drip the red decorating gel down the inside of 12 small clear glasses and let them sit 10 minutes or so to dry.

* combine powdered lemonade mix with sugar and the meringue powder in a large punch bowl.

* Whisking briskly, add seltzer water

* Add 10 drops green food coloring and 4 drops yellow food coloring.

* Add a peeled and sliced orange, a sliced lime and 1 pint raspberries for color.
