Selecting Halloween Stories for Kids
Most of the story books in the market are either illustrous in nature or some poetic mixed with illustration. Kids like visual stuff more than wordy books. - What i was scared of ? - Who is not aware of Dr.seuss books ? They're not only good for kids but even parents will enjoy them reading out loud to kids.
- Too Many Pumpkins - It's a bit witty for kids and only parents may get that sometimes. That aside, story of this book is fun to read to kids.
- Humbug Witch - Story of this book is about ugly witch who wants to enjoy halloween without hurting anyone. It has nice illustration and an excellent message behind the story.
- The Night Before Halloween - I'm sure you heard of some of the books in the series of "The night before". This book is from the same series and tells a fun halloween story to kids.
Scary Scary Halloween
Story maybe a little bit scary for some young children but it'll surely attract them to the ghost stories. It has some punch words and interesting story plot that makes it worth to read. This may be the single book that will be loved by both adult and kids alike. Definitely a perfect story book for Halloween.

Not all witches are scary and evil. There are some good witches as well. You'll find "room on the broom" a fun book to read. Of course it has some excellent illustration and periodic rhymes in it. If you're looking for story book on halloween theme yet less scary then this is the perfect for you.
