Perfect Halloween Candy Bags
Halloween Candy Bags Perfect for Getting or Giving Candy
Let's face it.
Halloween is all about the candy.
No matter how cool it is to dress up in an awesome costume, or how fun it is to celebrate with parties, it's all about the candy if you're a kid, or a kid at heart!
Parents, you remember thinking for at least a month before Halloween about all that candy. You remember your desire to get the biggest haul possible, right? And dumping it out all over the floor, searching through it for your favorite items to eat . . . for day, and days, and days? Yum!
But in order to get the candy, you need a great Halloween candy bag.
There are a lot of different types of Halloween bags, from paper to plastic to fabric. Did you know that some types of Halloween candy bags are safer than other types?
It's also fun to use creative Halloween candy bags for handing out candy or for treat bags at parties. This creative packaging can add an extra touch to holiday celebrations. Don't forget healthy choices when you're doing this!
You'll find all of this here - - bags for getting candy, safety information, bags for handing out candy and healthy choices.
Enjoy thinking about the candy!

Halloween Candy Bags: Bags for Handing Out Candy

Tired of the same old, same old?
It's easy to get stuck in a rut at Halloween. You're busy. And it's simple just to grab some bags of candy from the store, throw them in a bowl (or just leave them in the bag they came in) and hand out the candy to the kids like that.
But wouldn't it be cool to add a special touch, that really doesn't take much time, effort or money?
The idea in the picture is great.
It works for handing out candy. And it works for giving out treat bags at Halloween parties, or for sending fun treats to your child's classroom for Halloween.
It also allows for some healthy choices to be added, especially if it's for parties or your child's classroom.
What You Need:
That's it!
You can buy inexpensive cellophane bags or wrap from any dollar store, party store or craft shop. You can even get the kind with Halloween patterns on it!
Halloween stickers or pencils or those gross, disgusting, rubber-like Halloween toys like eyeballs, or fingers make great (and healthy) additions. You can also add other things like the fishy crackers in the picture.
What You Do:
Now you have simple, inexpensive hand-outs or treat bags that the kids will love!
If you're using them for handing candy out, just place them in a basket by your door and you're all set!

Aren't these bags cute?
Older "kids" pretty much always choose pillow cases, at least in my experience. They don't want the cute bags anymore and they want to get the hugest amount of candy they can.
But for little kids, these adorable, themed bags are perfect!
Safe & sturdy options include:
I don't have the instructions for the bags pictured here, but if you sew, you can figure it out from the picture. You can also make the bag itself, or purchase it and just sew on the decorative elements.

- One year, while I was out trick-or-treating with a friend, it started to sprinkle. Within moments of becoming wet, my friend's paper bag, which was by now full of candy, ripped open, scattering the candy all of someone's driveway! I'd taken an umbrella with us, so my friend pleaded with me to turn it upside down and use it to carry her candy back home...since her bag couldn't be used anymore. We may have gotten a bit wet ourselves, but at least we saved her candy! lol
