I love the fabric bags! My grandmother made me a special one and I still have it a few decades later. These are adorable!

One year, while I was out trick-or-treating with a friend, it started to sprinkle. Within moments of becoming wet, my friend's paper bag, which was by now full of candy, ripped open, scattering the candy all of someone's driveway! I'd taken an umbrella with us, so my friend pleaded with me to turn it upside down and use it to carry her candy back home...since her bag couldn't be used anymore. We may have gotten a bit wet ourselves, but at least we saved her candy! lol

What a great story! The candy was definitely more important than keeping dry yourself LOL!

I really like your idea about handing out gold fish crackers. I just bought some individual packets of whole grain gold fish crackers and they taste good enough to pass out to little ghosts and goblins.

I love canvas bags for carrying things. Been a long time since I brought little ones trick or treating, but they sure would come in handy then. Lensrolled to my Lady Gaga lens for Halloween and will add a link to this for you.
