Halloween 2009

Information and links to help you have an awesome Halloween this year.

Popular Children's Costumes for 2008

The holiday season has arrived, and Halloween is only a few weeks away. Some of the popular children's costumes for 2008 will include many favorite movie characters.

Some of the most popular Halloween costumes include Iron Man and a variety of Indiana Jones-related cosutmes. Star Wars is still very popular this year as well, along the line of Transformers, and Witches.

Many people prefer to purchase their costume, because you get the extra makeup and equipment with them, that you may not be able to make yourself. You can also purchase extra accessories for many of these costumes. There is a Jango Fett costume that comes with a set of blasters and you can purchase his inflatable jetpack as well as an extra accessory.

Night of the Living Dead

The first thing in planning a children's Halloween party is to decide on a theme.

No matter what theme you choose the one item that no Halloween party should be without is a fog machine.

The way you can make the fog roll over tombstones or stand low of the floor will definitely add flare to any party.

You could take Silly String and make spider webs all around the main activity room, where you will find creepy spiders, scorpions, and other pesky insects.

You could also offer a spooky movie time that will thrill your guests and give them a chance to rest from the dancing, allow the children to sit with their friends and turn the lights out, and you could stand in the shadows as a chaperon. Just make sure that the movies you choose will fit the age group of the children.
