So this is where the fanboys fight. Lets here it. What game is the superior first person shooter? What game is better online? What game is overall the better game?
So lets here it Gaylo nerds and Call of Booty poo poo fans !!!
Here's what I Think !!!
Halo Series:
Halo's online play is getting old and offers nothing new to the first person genre. Halo Reach should feel a bit updated as I will finally be able run when using a perk LMAO !!! The game is still addictive though.
Halo's single player game play is getting a bit stale. Please make it a bit more open and less linear. I enjoyed Halo: ODST open single player game play, too bad the game was only 3 hours long. The guns are also getting a bit boring. Story is generic also.
Call Of Duty Series:
Call Of Duty's online play was great in part 4. Modern warfare 2 killed it though. They went a bit perk crazy. Also the game play is feeling old now.
Call Of Duty's single player is top notch. I love it. Only bad thing is, how linear it is.

Because its game of the year material . Notice how every halo is the same fundamental gameplay , same as every call of duty play one and youve played them all . But halo reach broke that , i played the beta and real game and its nothing like any halo . Controls are different armor abilities like jetpacks , sprint , holograms , medic kit , healthpacks , armor lock , and tactical cloak . Then theres loadouts and playing as an Elite ( one of the aliens ) is way different then being a sparten. If your an elite your stronger , faster then the human players . Humans are smaller , have different loadouts and pocketknifes .
Halo reach has 100's of modes , game mode creator , level creator , movie maker/replay editor , picture editor , forge world , firefight , so much more content a campaign and everything .Even a dedicated racing mode with vehicles
Instead of being level based the campaign is in an open world like grand theft auto so you play on planet reach . Also getting black ops aka call of duty version 0.7 is dumb it will be just like every other call of duty with new killstreaks , new campaign but same fundamental gameplay unlike reach which actually changed drastically from 3
You create one character for story make it a male or female and it goes from the multiplayer to campaign . You earn credits that you use to buy armor to customize how you look
Black ops basically if you played one call of duty youve played them all same as 1,2,3,4,5,6 and the fourteen other spinoffs .
Im on halo reach right now man and once you put in the disc so much to do you don't know what you should do

Well, now that Black Ops 2 is coming out, you can no longer say that the campaign will be "linear", because BO2. Is suppose to have a campaign were, depending how you do, the outcome will be differant.
