Another Video Game In A Great xBox 360 Saga
Finally, fans of the Halo series could once again experience the thrill of the Halo universe. This time, Halo developers, Bungie Software, is developing an expansion game for the Halo series. Halo 3: ODST features a new hero as well as new campaigns and new multiplayer options that will give serious Halo fans added challenges and enhanced gaming experience. The game was initially named Halo 3: Recon, but was later changed to Halo 3: ODST to better illustrate the game's new light. The game was developed in order to satiate the fans' curiosity regarding events at Earth during the Halo 2 and Halo 3 series. Fans and gamers alike should await Halo 3: ODST on sale on September 2009.

GAMEPLAY
Halo 3: ODST focuses on the story where the events leading to Master Chief's return to New Mombasa in Halo 3. Players will assume the character of a UNSC Orbital Drop Shock Trooper or ODST known simply as, "The Rookie". ODST are the first soldiers deployed in hostile situations. They may not be as powerful as Master Chief, but they are hardy and courageous. ODSTs have thus earned the name "Hell Jumpers". Gamers who have been long time fans of the ODST could finally experience the Halo universe through the ODST point of view.
The new hero will traverse the ruins of New Mombasa after the disastrous attack of Covenant. The soldier is tasked with looking for clues behind the attack while also searching for his lost comrades. Players will be faced with the challenge of dodging attacks from Brutes, and navigating the ruinous terrain of New Mombasa. Although the game does not focus on stealth, an amount of skill and cunning is required since the too human ODST is vulnerable to weapon fire. The soldier can also expect an occasional help from the city's AI known as Superintendent. The game trailer shows the AI giving the soldier directions to go to the safer parts of the city. As to what extent the AI could help is yet to be seen.
Since Halo 3: ODST serves as a new perspective to the Halo trilogy, gamers new to the series can play the game separately from the last Halo installment. It may even be a good introduction to the whole Halo series. It is expected that Halo 3:ODST sale will be on the fall of 2009.

Old time players will experience additional enhancements to the game. Since Halo 3: ODST focuses on a new hero and a new perspective than the pervious Halo releases, the multiplayer options has been enhanced to meet the new edition. The expanded multiplayer capabilities range from new maps, new Forge options, a 4-player-co-op mode and new campaign scoring.
Despite earlier speculations, this last installment will not be a squad-based tactical shooter game. Except on co-op mode, players are expected to finish the mission alone, with no back-up and no Master Chief. Hence, intelligence, strategy and cunning play big parts in the fulfilling missions. Expect Halo 3:ODST on sale on your favorite gaming stores on September 2009. Do yourself a favor and find a copy of halo 3 for sale as soon as it comes out!
