Halo 4
Even though it's not long ago that Halo 3 came out, there are already rumors circulating about the possible next part in the series. There has been no official word about Halo 4 to date, but several sites have published rumors concerning the fourth part of the series. Here is a collection of some of them. - I just hope there will be a halo 6,halo 5, and halo 4 because there is a 2401 Penitent Tangrent, found on Delta Halo,who has an eye that is already red, captured by gravemind, along with the Prophet of Regret, Chief, Cortana, and The Arbiter.

- Well im not to sure if there will be a halo 4 mostly because of the main reason of Halo 3 : Finish The fight. but if there is a halo 4 that mght come out this is the story i think it should the story.In my opinion, if Chief and Cortana are floating above that planet at the end, it would make sense for them to crashland and begin a story of survival. But with a real twist, tie this story in with the story of "Ghosts of Onyx". The 4th novel of the Halo series. If you've read that story, Kurt Ambrose, a Spartan 3 and former Spartan 2, just commited suicide by detonating a bunch of nukes on an entire Covenant army. Kelly, a Spartan 2, several other Spartan 3's and Dr. Halsey escaped through a portal developed by Forerunner technology. They are still on Onyx, a completely artificial planet much like the Halo rings. After they get through, they see what remains of In Amber Clad fall down from the sky. John retrieves Cortana and some weapons; Covenant army by John's long departed friend, Kurt. Im thinking that
the remains of Chiefs ship is going to crash land onto that planet, of
course both Cheif and Cortana survive. After he scavenges through the
wreckage for weapons and ammo, he recieves a low level communication
from an unknown source but has a UNSC signature. Cheif knows that he
can use all the ammo he can get so he fashions a pack filled with 1 Assuault rifle, 2 shotguns, 1
SMG, 1 Battle Rifle, 8 Grenades and 2 Magnums; with a shitload of ammo
to boot. Cortana detects some barely functional Sentinels but pays
them no bother. Chief begins to make his long journey to the location
where the transmission originated. However, what he doesnt know is that
there are still two Covenant ships in orbit that do not know the
condition of the Prophets and the other Halo's defeat. These two ships
have survived the onslaught of the Sentinels. Still blood thirsty, one
Covenant ship comes down and begins their search for the remaining
Spartans. After two days, Chief finds footprints that match Kelly's
suit. Not long after, he signals her communications grid and makes
contact. Of course, there is a brief reunion, but it is spoiled by the
Covenant forces that followed Chief. Luckily, the Covenant split
chinned sons of bitches are about a day behind so the Spartans decide
to go on the offensive and take a Covenant cruiser back to Earth. I
mean shit, they are already bad assed motherfuckers, and one Spartan
took out a whole damn armada. One ship shouldnt be a problem. They divy
up the ammo and go on the hunt. There's battles out the yin-yang, they
make it to the ship, kill everything except the engineer aliens, and
try to jump back to the Earth System, but they are stalled for a while
by the second Covenant ship. After they kick all the ass there is to be
kicked, Cortana finally plots a course back to Earth. The get back to
Earth, almost get blown up by their own defense platforms. There is a
ceremony of heroes and a memorial service. Master Chief finally takes
off his helmet for the first time and us players can see him finally.
His red hair, freckles, and pale out the ass skin. He finally goes
home, but before he says goodbye, he turns to his comrades and says
"Call me if you need me."
In all honesty, I think it could play really well.

- Halo fan: you can complete the second part of the last level on easy, it will play after the credits [it always does], starting with a paragraph stating that Bungie thanks you for playing halo 3.
Ace Boogie: It's rumored that the people that made Gears of war will also make halo 4, because Bungie disbanded their team with microsoft.
P.S And for all 8-year-olds who play halo 3, LOOK UP DISBANDED AND PARAGRAPH!!
