The Hammer
Hamilton is still considered to be a lunch bucket steel town, even though medicine and education are actually bigger drivers of the local economy. Hamilton is a town of a half million people that is consistently ignored by the Toronto based media one hour up the road. Hamilton is one of the most common destinations for immigrants, so has many vibrant ethnic communities. Hamilton is without question a rock and roll kind of town.
