Arts and Crafts - Buying Selling and Making

Because I love arts and crafts so much every time we have bad weather I love it and always have,
I'd go out to the shops with the kids then come home and change,get all comfy and say what shall we make today.
My eldist boy is now 18 and my daughter is 14 so it isn;t the same with them any more (they have computers) but my youngest boy is 3 and he loves it.
In fact when I say we are going out he says "no mum I want to stay in", I ask him why and he says "I want to do art".
Now this may sound strange -a 3 year old boy asking to do art - but it's true,we cover the floor with old wallpaper backside facing up then get the paints out, he has the whole floor to paint on, he walks in it and does hand painting.
Because he has a short attention span he gets bord quick so we then change get cleaned up and get all the stampers out (I have loads), or we get child friendly glue and paper cut outs or stickers and crayons all sorts of bits, he loves all the glitters and stickers also.
So there we have it a child friendly creative day for the bad weather days. Children love to create and get messy so why not do it with them.
