Unique Handmade Cards
My original lens for the handmade cards I sell became far too long (this happens with my lenses ... oops) so now it will turn into a group of lenses.
First I have extracted the cards designed by Raven of Edinburgh. Raven is my daughter so I'm naturally biased towards her artwork and I would like to think she gets her talents from me but her abilities far surpass mine when it comes to drawing from nature particularly.
All her cards are available as prints as well and can be found through the RSS feeds at the bottom of this page.
I hope you enjoy seeing her work.

Liquid Sun

Liquid Sun is the first of Raven's cards I want to introduce you to. It has a partner card, Liquid Moon, shown below.
This is taken from an original oil painting which Raven will not be offering for sale although some of her originals will appear from time to time on one of the auction sites on which I sell.

The Fly by Raven
This card by Raven is a study of a fly, drawn from life, her attention to detail in artworks taken from Nature is truly amazing.The original of this study is in a private collection, the card shows a slightly enlarged print of the study.
It may seem a slightly offbeat subject for a greeting card ... perhaps it's one for the Goths among us or simply for anyone who is fascinated by Nature.
Comet by Raven
Comet, a card derived from an original painting by Raven.
The painting itself is available for sale and is larger than the card (which is approximately A5 in size) contact me if you may be interested as I do not have it shown on eBid at the moment.
This is also available as an A4 print.
Below is Ice Comet, available only as a card or A4 print.
It's Bigger Than We Thought Guys
A tiny spaceship hovers above the mushroom and the title is what I imagine the occupants would be saying.
Raven has a wonderful imagination :-)
Again, the card is hand finished in metallic inks.

We know the individual who requested the card was delighted with the result and, when it was first published it was very well received.
Please remember that all of the card designs are available as prints for framing and all prints are signed and numbered by the artist who created the original work.

This is another card taken from an original artwork by Raven.
It has a partner card, shown below, the Dark Dragon.
Again, these are approximately A5 in size and, as with all other cards etc, they are shipped in board backed envelopes to arrive with you in perfect condition.
Each card is supplied with a lavender coloured self-seal envelope, ready to send.

Mushroom Cat
Another card from Raven. The Mushroom Cat is sitting contemplating something on top of a gigantic Amanita Muscaria, perhaps he's waiting for a rabbit to follow.This card is hand finished with metallic inks which have caused a bounce back with the flash photography - the cat is more solid than the photo shows LOL
