Welcome to Flourishes! Every room needs at least one special piece of furniture. Something that will make your home friendly and inviting and make a strong statement about who you are. I have tried many diferent forms of art and discovered my love for rescuing unloved furniture. My products are designed to be a unique and exciting addition to your home. I specialize in one-of-a-kind, hand painted furniture. All the pieces are reclaimed items, recycled and given a wonderful new life. I use non toxic latex and acrylic paints on all the pieces I create. They will stand up to everyday normal wear and cleaning. I love what I do!
This business started out of my love of furniture. (I have a soft spot in my heart for unloved and discarded furniture.) I kept finding beautiful pieces and they kept following me home. I finally ran out of room in my home and discovered that what I was creating was loved by others as well. I now have a shop, located in St. Charles, IL, and I invite you to come in and look around. You may just find a piece will wiggle its way in to your heart as well.
I am now working on a new retro funky line featuring pin up girls. I believe they are some of the most beautiful and sexy women in the world. Beauty is wonderful to look at, and this line will blow you away. I am absolutly in love with it. I'm also creating the girls I use, so its making it more fun for me.
