Let me tell you a little about my life. I was born at the time of Diwali in India which is a very auspicious time for a child to be born. Secondly, there were not three wise men outside my house on the night of my birth but 56. Let me explain. While inside they happened to hear the sound of my mother in childbirth and realised that they had arrived at a very handy time. No Indian parent can refuse the first wish given to them after their child is born. Anyway, these unscrupulous fellows were making a lot of trouble amongst themselves deciding just what they could ask for. One was suggesting they ask for three spitted goats with extra hot chilli spices on the top, and another was suggesting they ask for my father's entire annual crop of tobacco which was drying under the eaves of the roof. Another fellow however came up with the most terrible idea yet. He asked my parents if they would give the only gift to which they would rather have died than given, which was their first born son. So I was handed over, still covered i swaddling clothes, and began my life with the wandering sadhus who taught me the ancient art of making natural incense, as well as the powers of healing, deep meditation techniques and a variety of other secret things which have left to my unusual life.

Anyway, over the next ten or fifteen years I grew into a young boy and was soon recognised to have certain powers which even the wandering holy men feared.
