I bought this for my alsmot 3 year old Blue's clues fan. Just a warning, if you have to use water, be sparing. It sucks up water like a sponge, my 1 year old threw it in the tub. Also, the spiral tends to come out. It works back in easily but I have lost one page due to this and the water thing. Decent product otherwise.
Blue
The star of Blue's Clues, Blue, is a girl puppy who communicates to Steve and Joe through barks, which they understand. Every episode she initiates a game of Blue's Clues in which she leaves three paw print clues for Steve or Joe and the viewer to find in order to a question. Steve
Steve is the host of Blue's Clues for the first four seasons. Steve lives in an animated world and is Blue's caregiver. Mailbox lives at the foot of the pathway in front of Blue's house. He sits on a post, and gets the mail, delivering it when it comes. When he delivers the mail, he comes in through the living room window to the right of the Thinking Chair, on an "extendo" arm. Mailbox is a boy, with a thick Brooklyn accent. Pail and her brother Shovel live in the backyard at Blue's house. They love to talk and giggle, and can often be found building sandcastles in the sand table. Periwinkle
Periwinkle is the boy cat who moves in next door to Blue. Unlike Blue, Periwinkle does talk, and among his favorite hobbies is being mischievous and practicing magic. Tickety Tock
A girl clock who lives in Blue's bedroom on the nightstand. Tickety is learning to count, and loves to ring her bells. Slippery Soap
Slippery Soap lives in the bathroom of Blue's house. He loves to play in the bubbles in the tub and is always slipping and sliding around.

Although my two years olds love the magenta and blues stuffed animal, it is not the size they advertise. I purposefully bought the medium size (not the 4" but the 8") and it is very small- definately not 8". But the kids don't know the difference and my daughter carries magenta around everywhere!
