The Van Gogh Museum contains the largest collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh in the world. It tracks the artist's developments, and compares his paintings to works by other artists from the 19th century in the collection. Click here to jump to a listing of current exhibitions.
The museum is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00 (Friday until 22.00). It is closed New Year's Day, 1 January. You will find the Van Gogh Museum on Museumplein in Amsterdam, between the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum.
The museum entrance is at Paulus Potterstraat 7.

The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam continues to undergo a major renovation and the main building remains closed. During this period the finest works from the 17th century, the so-called Golden Age, in the Rijksmuseum are being displayed under the title "The Masterpieces", in its redesigned Philips Wing.
