Sydney Opera House is a world renowned masterpiece of late modern architecture and has earned a reputation as a world-class performing arts centre. It is recognized throughout the world as both a symbol of Sydney and also the Australian nation.

Sydney Opera House was made a World Heritage site in 2007: The UNESCO inscription reads, "Sydney Opera House is a great architectural work of the 20th century. It represents multiple strands of creativity, both in architectural form and structural design, a great urban sculpture carefully set in a remarkable waterscape and a world famous iconic building".

The Sydney coastal path covers 100 kilometres and called the Great Coastal Walk, it runs from Barrenjoey around Sydney Harbour to the Royal National Park.

Offering the opportunity for a magnificent 7 day adventure, the path can be conveniently divided into a Northern Beaches Walk from Barrenjoey to North Head, which would normally take 4 days to walk and a Southern Coastal Walk, which would take 3 days.
