Are You Cyber-Stalking Me?
At any rate - the thing is.... Happiegrrrl has, for better or worse, become a brand name to some extent. Sub-brands include ClimbAddict Designs, Talisman Shops, and Outrageous Tees. But behind all those really is a human being(that would be me - Happie) who many have come across in real life. I think it is Teddy who is responsible for that. He's just so damned cute and loves people so much! All you have to do is look at him and he's on you like pine pitch on your shoe(and jacket, and arms, and in your hair) as you walk through the forest in spring.
So - to help navigate the various online facets of the Happiegrrrl persona - I give you Happiegrrrl Online, a directory of resource where you may go to see what I'm doing right about.....now!
Speaking of Teddy(the Wonderhound)

Teddy doesn't have so much of an online presence, except that people DO recognize him at the crags after having seen one of his pictures posted by me somewhere. They will see him, point, and say to their friend something like "Hey! That's Teddy!" and come up to him and start petting him. Eventually they might(might!) turn to me and ask if I am "that Happy Girl."
A few of the rock climbing guides at the Gunks will advise their clients "That's Teddy. He's a VIP(Very Important Poodle?) here at the Gunks, as if letting them know an insider's tip. In turn, when those clients return on their own, they often point out Teddy to THEIR friends!
Teddy IS spotted along the carriage road, at the base of the cliffs, and hob-nobbing about town in New Paltz quite often, and if you are there between April and October, chances are good you may spot him yourself. If you like dogs, stop and say hello. Teddy will be glad you did!
Teddy is part Poodle, and probably part Jack Rusell Terrier. He was left at the ASPCA in Manhattan when he was around four months old. Luckily for me, I happened to come looking for a dog during the very short time frame he was....impounded. He's been my constant companion since, and though he is extremely well-behaved, it's NOT due to any training I have provided. Teddy has figure things out all by himself, and constantly amazes people with his expressive intelligence, gentle personality and good manners. The only area to take issue with is if you have a sandwich or other sort of food a dog might like. Teddy believes - with all his heart - that you will share at least SOME of it with him. And if you put that sandwich down and turn your back.... well, he will assume you have abandoned it. He seems to feel very stronly that no food should be left behind.
ClimbAddict Designs
Rock Climbing T-Shirts, Stickers and More!
ClimbAddict Designs is my *pet project,* an eShop where I can work on my creative and entrepreneurial skills while trying to scratch out an income for myself.
ClimbAddict was started in 2005, with the "Do Not Drop" design. Other design ideas followed and as of now the shop hosts more than 75 graphic designs, all of which are available on a wide range of products, from t-shirts, hoodies and caps, to Sigg bottles, Thermos products and stickers.
You can keep up on what's new with Climbaddict in a variety of ways. Click on the highlighted text below to go to each!
- The ClimbAddict Designs website is our gateway to everything else, with links to our eShops and Social Media pages, and also includes links to other climbing-related websites.
- ClimbAddict, our primary eShop is like base camp. All our designs are available here, some on nearly 150 products!
- ClimbAddict II hosts a number of our designs as well, though not all. The draw for this shop is that we can offer Microfiber t-shirts, tanks and long-sleeved t's through this venue.
- Find us on Facebook! Here we provide information on contests and promotions, as well as provide an interactive forum for those who *Like* us to easily let us know what's important to them as climbers.
- Follow us on Twitter, where we also post about specials informally, and I do my best to restrain myself from stream of conscious blathering. If you really ARE a Happiegrrrl cyber-stalker....this is where you can find me (online, that is) in real time.
Design Available from ClimbAddict
"It Doesn't Have to Be Fun to be Fun" - World Class alpinist Mark Twight, famous for his difficult climbing strugglefests, painful even by the most serious of mountain climber's standards, said this, about why he continues to climb in the way he does. This style and many more are available at the ClimbAddict shop. Another ClimbAddict Designs
"Climb On" - Even non-climbers can appreciate the humor in this design! Who hasn't watched a lizard scamper with ease up some vertical bit of rock that they couldn't even get off the ground on!? This style and many more are available at the ClimbAddict shop. Click here to go directly to this design, available on t-shirts, Sigg bottles, stickers and other items.

Talisman Studios
Hair Accessories Made With Vintage Buttons and Beads
Talisman Studios is an eBoutique filled with wonderful hair accessories, each made from vintage sewing buttons or antique trade beads. Specifically, the items are ponytail holders, featuring one or two buttons/beads. Some of the materials used are hand-carved mother of pearl, rhinestones from the glamour-era 1940's, black lustre glass, stamped metals, and bakelite.
Outrageous Tees
T-Shirts for Every Body!
OutrageousTees is where I post designs which are not specifically for rock climbers. Most of my ideas in this eShop make some statement on my views of our current socio-economic condition. But, there are also some just plain old ideas I think are funny, too.
From Outrageous Tees
"I'm Working On My DON'T DO List! " - Whether you take this as being a naughty "Don't" list or that of the procrastinator, you're sure to get a few smiles or comments from those who see it! These styles and many more are available at the Outrageous Tees shop. Click here to go directly to this design, available on t-shirts, keychains, and other items.
