Can't fake feeling Happy: You are - or you are not. Don't despair - you can re-claim your happiness today.


1.) Happiness is NOW, Not in the Future. Your Future Happiness Depends on Your Present Happiness. The more you find to appreciate NOW - the more you find to appreciate in your future.


2.) Train Your Brain to Look for Happy Solutions and for "...what's right in this moment." Stop fear and stressful responses using the newest methods - and you will find quick relief, peace and happiness.


3.) Choose to be Happy: No Matter What. You deserve to be happy no matter what happens. It is your birthright: Claim it. Make "happiness" a new habit.

I'd be happier IF ONLY I had the time, less stress, more money and new relationships.

Are you waiting for life to magically improve so you don't have to? How is that working out for you? What if instead, finding happiness now was the quick easy way to also find happiness in your future? Surprised? It is the perfect solution: Happy Now and Happy Later.


Do you think: "...I'm too busy with serious pressures I can't ignore?" Don't buy into that! The "serious pressure" is self-inflicted misery. Give up doing it "all yourself" and insisting everything is perfect - or it's not good enough. Stop listening to others tell you what to do. That will free up lots of your time.

These three attitudes: Are a quick ticket to a stressed-out lifestyle.

1.) Waiting for life (more money or a lover) and others to change.

2.) Going it alone and busy, busy, busy.

3.) Trying to be perfect and trying to please others.


You don't enjoy you when you are stressed and neither can anyone else. It may seem like the petty annoyances and pressures are coming from others - but stress does not exist outside of you. There are no "pressures or annoyances" out there in life. Life just IS. These attitudes are in your mind.

If you don't lighten up and change your attitude - nothing outside of you CAN change either. Bottom line?

Make changes today or you sacrifice your future happiness too. What needs changing? Your past fears and limiting attitudes. Now is the time to live happily ever after. Even if you think that means having more money and time - it doesn't. That idea keeps you from happiness NOW.

Changes happen when you change and choose to feel happy now - and live happy now. It means telling yourself you are happy with life. Stop dissecting the past and present moment finding fault and feeling bad. You choose: look at your life as okay and improving -- or look at it and say and feel ".....it is not good enough." Which feels happier? Your call!



Choosing happiness means choosing to think in new ways. Why? It is the only way to produce new happy results.

The happier you are RIGHT NOW - the happier you will be in the future. Living unhappily is only a bad habit - and you can break it now with very little effort.

Simply train yourself to see and feel what IS working and makes you happy now. Find what IS right in the moment. Fearing conflict that may be happening or has happened stresses you out. Stop it. Sound impossible?

Following are some tips and strategies to make it simple and quick. The reward? Happiness NOW and getting what you want to experience NOW and in the FUTURE. That's a shortcut to happiness!

Make the Decision: Get Happy and Stay Happy

Every decision you make is a crossroads. One choice will lead to happiness and another to conflict and stress. It's always your call.

1.) Your future happiness depends on your present happiness. Drop all thoughts and attitudes that feel bad.

Everything you are working towards and creating feels good and you are moving towards feeling better and better until you "arrive at feeling happy." That journey depends on your consistent Attitude of feeling good NOW in order for it to happen.

Your Attitude is your opinion of what is true. Your "opinion in the moment" is not the only truth. As you pay attention you discover that your opinion varies depending on your mood. If the day or week (or year) has not gone well for you, it's likely your opinions have matched and have declined into unhappiness or resignation to feeling disappointed.

Opinion, Judgement and Blame.

Do you see the differences or similarities? Do you judge some good and some bad? Stop that! Judgement is only affecting your happiness -not the other.

Negative fearful opinions of others

When your opinions of others are negative you are unhappy and you do not feel safe. When you change that bad habit you also free yourself from fear and negative self-talk. Stress-free relations are easy and you can train your mind into enjoying anyone - absolutely anyone.


The side benefit? Once your opinion of others is positive - your opinion of yourself matches. You like you better because you are in control of your life and of your relationships. You no longer see others as influencing your feelings. Once you grasp that NO ONE can make you unhappy - (but you) you are free.

A negative fearful opinion of your life is a self-fulfilling prophesy.

When your opinion of your past, present and future is negative - you are unhappy. You fear life is against you or that something is wrong with you. And you likely have done some soul-searching on how you ended up in the situation you are in: Asking, "What went wrong and why am I here?"

One step - switch to feeling happy

Once you commit to be happy - it is easier than you think.

Gather up all of the negative feelings you believe are true and resolve to switch them. Why bother? Because when you feel your past, present and future are positive - you are happy.

Seeing your past in a negative light is a choice. Many good things happened in your past. Find them and very soon your future will reflect the happier point of view too.



Blame is a poison

Blame leaves you powerless and a victim. Do you resist forgetting all the past hurts and wrongs that were done to you? That's like holding onto a burning coal to punish those at fault. You are the one suffering - not them. Only you can keep this alive and in doing so you extend it into your future. Don't do that. If you want to be happy your only choice is to DROP UNHAPPINESS.

Appreciate yourself and others and you are both increasing in value. Blame or "depreciation" is finding fault with others and then you are lowering your value of yourself along with the others. Why? Because you don't respect or like criticism or blame, even from yourself and even when you think it is justified.



Admiration feels even better.

There is only one question you need to ask yourself throughout the day: Am I happy?

How do you know?

Happy feels relaxed and content and safe.

If your feeling is even a little less than "happy" - say even 1-5% unhappy, then the answer is "no." Being happy means you are content with the flow of your life. If you are feeling "unhappy" then you are no longer in the flow of Happiness.

Take a moment and ask: What's bothering me? Find an answer and then use the energy methods to release the anxiety.


Deal with unhappiness and clear it up.

Are you tolerating a situation or person you don't like?

Are you doing something you don't like to do?

Are you no longer doing what you intended to do?

Is what you are experiencing feeling annoying or frustrating?

Is your body in need of a stress break - a walk or rest from long hours of work?

Are you hungry or thirsty or needing sleep?

    I'm generally pretty happy and satisfied with what I have and so, though I do have areas where I need to improve. I practice gratitude, and pray when I am anxious about something. I'm probably pretty normal with good physical and mental health. What I've found, though, is that many people who have mental illnesses, such as clinical depression or, don't seem to be able to use the same techniques the rest of us do. They often need professional help and that doesn't always help. It's like telling a person with a broken leg she will feel much better if she will just go for a long walk.

    I'm a big fan of Abraham-Hicks (& EFT) and I like the idea of just feeling better in the moment, one thought/emotion at a time. It is too difficult to go from feeling negative or neutral to being joyful in one instant. It's about getting into the habit of knowing how you feel and how to use appreciation to move up the scale towards happiness.

    Good advice. We're the biggest stumbling blocks to our own happiness. My motto in life used to be a quote from Emerson: "Always do what you're afraid to do." Once I learned that lesson, I moved on. Now Mary Oliver is my inspiration: "What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
