Fascinating information. I love Halloween and this lens was cool.

Best part of a happy Halloween, for me, is the Treehouse of Horror of Simpsons!

This is a fantastic lens and a beautiful way to create a lensograpy. So many wonderful ideas right here in one place! Halloween is a big family time for us. We enjoy the costumes, trick or treating and certainly decorating.

What I remember MOST about Halloween is the fact that my mom married my stepfather on that date quite a long time ago. Sadly, he is NO more with us here but up in Heaven with those angels entertaining them. Love Halloween ... and thanks for those memories!

Fantastic Lens! Very interesting. There's no Halloween in my country so I didn't know much about it beyond what I've seen in television and movies. Now I want to get a Star Trek costume and roam my neighborhood in search of candy. =D

Shiver me timbers the pregant costume would be a scary for me if Me Special Lass decided to wear one this Halloween. Avast!

Interesting to read all the info about Halloween.I take it for granted that we're of the very few that actually celebrate this holiday.
  • spunkyduckling Oct 15, 2009 @ 11:34 am | delete
Totally awesome lens! Aww...I don't have halloween in my country. Would have been nice though. I do think there are a minority of children out there who will want fairy costumes. Those might be the ones who dislike anything unpleasant and prefer to have their focus on beauty and peace. Of course with the amount of peer pressure we can be sure that children will want to fit in rather than promote what they really want to, and it depends on the age of the child too.

It's like diwali in India, I want to participate in the celebration! nice presentation!

I just wrote it differently so that no one get confused any more :)
  • Snozzle Oct 4, 2009 @ 10:15 am | delete
Very interesting! I'm in England, don't know if I misunderstood, you but Guy Fawkes Day has nothing to do with Halloween. We do 'celebrate' Halloween though at the end of October. Great lens.

Lovely lens and very informative. Funny thing about Halloween and Europe, it origins in Ireland but in the Scandinavian countries we don't celebrate it at all or so it was. Now the shops have taken up the idea to make money. If you are so inclined I have a Sexy Halloween Costume Lens

Excellent lens. I've always liked witch costumes. Gothic ones are especially nice which is a bit of an oxymoron. :)
