Gain Muscle Fast - 3 Tips For Speedy Growth
When you're trying to gain more muscle mass faster, you need to make a few small but VERY significant changes in your work out routine.
If you're going at it like high school boys do, you probably waste 2 hours of your precious time at the gym working out almost every day and your results are minimal.
We want to leverage your time at the gym, that means waste the least amount of time while focusing on whats most important and get the most results.
1. Waste less time resting
The best way to do this is by taking a timer with you, you need to know exactly how much time you need to rest.
If say you usually take 90 seconds of rest then make it 30 seconds, you must train your body to recover faster, this way your muscles will grow more rapidly.
2. "Less Is More"
This quote holds true to building mass, you can't waste your time doing 12 sets per exercise, you will only see gains this way if you take drugs, do 3-5 sets per exercise, preferably 3.
You must lift the heaviest abount of weight that you can about 6-9 times, try to get the most out in the least amount of time.
Another thing you musn't forget is that you can't hurry up with each exercise itself(ex. dumbbell curls), when you lift and then let it go back down slowly more of your muscle will be stimulated.
3. Progress Is Key
Imagine that you've been bench pressing 200 pounds for the last 3 months, do you think that you had any progress? of course not!
In order to have muscle gains you must lift more each week, the best way to describe it is, add 5% to the weight that you lifted the previous week.
For example if you lifted 100 pounds last week, get it up to 105 this week and add more with every coming week, this way you will make faster progress.
Last tip, try to spend less than an hour at the gym, you are more likely to overtrain if you spend more.
