Who is Masaki Sumitani

Razor Ramon Hard Gay, or simply Hard Gay is a comedic gay character played by a Japanese performer Masaki Sumitani. The many fansites of this cool dude might use different spelling of his name, such as Laser Ramon, Harudo Gay, or Haado Gei. No matter how you call him, HG is hysterically funny, and he has his own Japanese TV show where he travels around "helping out" various people.

Hard Gay is not in fact homosexual, but rather an ordinary comedian portraying a funny and over-the-top character. Masaki Sumitani visited a lot of gay bars in Doyama-cho, Osaka's biggest gay area, to develop his Hard Gay personality. He usually dresses in a tight black leather outfit and never takes off his leather hat and sunglasses during the show. There were some negative reactions from homosexuals because HG uses his "gayness" to make people laugh.

Acting isn't the only thing that Masaki Sumitani does. He has finished the Doshisha University with a major in Commerce. He also is a professional wrestler, although he announced his retirement from the sport in 2006. But let's talk about his Hard Gay character now!
