Barb, the French double has such a masculine sound to it. I love the timbre of the insutrument. I suppose this harpsichord is way up there in price. It is my love to music and being a trained musician in classical music and piano being my primary instrument, I have alway been longing for a harpsichord.

Hi there, I've had a look round your site, it's wonderful! The sound of your harpsichords is almost orchestral. Beautiful

Thank you for your kind compliment! The first piece my father is playing is part of a Suite by Matthias Weckmann (1619-1674). There is a recording available on the Wildboar label called, "Seventeenth Century German Harpsichord Music: The Stylus Phantasticus", performed by Edward Parmentier. You can purchase it online here: http://www.musicaloffering.com/wildboar/german_harpsicord.html. Enjoy!

Hi, I love your harpsichord! I'm writing to inquire about the first piece your father is playing. I read all the comments, so I learned it's a suite by Weckmann; unfortunately, I can find no web supplier that sells the Wildboar CD. In any case, I'm a pianist and would like to learn the piece, so can you tell me which Suite it's from? Or an opus number? Thanks for your help.
