Harrison Ford was a struggling actor who had turned to carpentry to feed his family when he got the chance to audition for the role of Bob Falfa in the George Lucas movie AMERICAN GRAFFITI. After that he worked with Lucas on STAR WARS and a movie career was born.
With two adult sons from his first marriage and teen children (one son, one daughter) from his second marriage, Ford is rumored to be planning a summer wedding with present girlfriend Calista Flockhart.
His latest film INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL picks up 19 years after the last Indy film. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday May 18th and hits theaters starting at midnight on May 22nd.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL sends Indy (Harrison Ford) into adventure once again, this time racing the Russians to find a crystal skull that will give the finder ultimate power if they can return it to the city from which it was stolen. Marian Ravenwood (Karen Allen) is back, and she's brought along a friend, Mutt Williams (Shia LeBeouf). The villian is Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett), a psychic Russian army officer.

It was incredibly entertaining, though the end didn't make much sense. Shia LaBeouf seems like a worthy successor to me!
P.S. Midnight showings are not as fun as you'd think. Too many people blocking the screen with their Indy hats. ;)

Then "Star Wars" came out and I spent most of puberty having a huge crush on Harrison Ford. Ditto for the Indiana Jones movies.
"Witness" is an excellent drama, and if you keep your eyes peeled, you'll get to see a very young Viggo Mortensen help Harrison Ford build a barn!
Although "Bladerunner" didn't do well when it was first released, it has gone on to become one of the most influential and audience-acclaimed science fiction movies of all time.
