Star Wars : Clone War action figures - The Prequel
George Lucas first introduced the Clone Wars in 2002's Attack Of The Clones even the Clone Wars were mentioned in 1977's Star Wars.
Hasbro had produced some Clone War Trooper action figures in 2002's SAGA (it says just Star Wars on the packaging but is known as Star Wars Saga)line but with the success of the 2D Tartakovsky Clone Wars TV show in 2003 it produced more Clone Troopers which were well received by fans.
Before l go too far l will try to give a simple Star Wars timeline.
The Clone wars are featured in the Star Wars series' fifth and sixth films, Attack of the Clones (2002) and Revenge of the Sith (2005) which are the second and third episodes of the films.
1. Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
2. Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
3. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
4. Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
5. Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
6. Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)
As well as the major films there was also :-
1. The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978) as bad as it sounds!
2. Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure (1984)
3. Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1985)
In terms of animation here goes:-
1. Droids: The Pirates and the Prince (1985)
2. Droids: Treasure of the Hidden Planet (1985)
3. Clone Wars .vol1 (2003) by Tartakovsky
4. Clone Wars .vol2 (2005) by Tartakovsky
5. Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008 on)
So Lets leave that there for now.

Clone Wars Prequel figures
It is easiest to break down the Clone Wars figure into three groups:-1.Realistic Clone Wars Figures.
The Legacy Collection (TLC) from 2008.These figures are aimed more at collectors with a more realistic modeling approach and higher price point. There is more empthasis on obscure characters for the figures, which are all well detailed with good joint articulation.
2.Animated Style Clone Wars Figures.
The Clone Wars Collection (TCW) from 2008. This has been a hugely successful line of figures aimed less at the collector and more towards a younger audience who will love the huge weapons.This series is modeled on the animated TV series.
3.Clone Trooper Action Figures.
This covers a number of Collections including The Clone Wars Collection (TCW) , The Legacy Collection (TLC) and The 30th Anniversary Collection(TAC 2007-2008)
Now is probably the right time to see more of the Clone Wars Characters.

It is probably the best rendition yet of Cody but is just a litlle bit too white and clean.
