I am tired of buying boring plastic containers to store things in. Hat boxes are my new decorating and organizational tool. They reason why they're good is you can stack them and leave them on surfaces and they don't look messy. They look chic.

- I love old-fashioned hat boxes and old suitcases for storage. They go great together. I've been able to find fun hatboxes at discount stores like TJ Maxx, Ross Outlet and Tuesday Morning. But I really like the look of old ones. Or you can make and decorate your own fairly easily too.

- I have a round hat box that says LaVogue Shop of Quality. It has a bunch of George Washington looking people on it... it is old.
