Some of the most haunted cemeteries
An orb is according to Wiki: The term orb describes unexpected, typically circular artifacts in photographs. Sometimes the artifact leaves a trail, indicating motion. Orb backscatter and especially its movement has been broadly interpreted as a highly variable range of paranormal phenomenon without verifiable causation, including invisible spirits, auras, angels, ghosts, energy fields, psycho energetic artifacts, energy balls, etc. Pretty interesting isn't it?
I have been searching on line for several hours now trying to find a photo of a cemetery that I use to go to all of the time when I was a very young child. Yes, I went alone-when no one could find me in the house, the first place they would look was in this old little cemetery a half of a block from the house. There was this one grave that I use to just sit at; I do not remember anything except for just sitting there. But in my search this morning I could not find the cemetery-but I know it use to be there.
Many people who are empathic have a hard time going to cemeteries because they feel the sadness from all of the hurtful emotions of people who have had to lay their loved ones to rest. To this very day, during Halloween when the veil between the worlds is very thin, I cannot even drive by a cemetery without becoming very emotional.
So, I hope to fill this lens with encounters that have been captured in different cemeteries.

I have personally experienced an encounter in this cemetery during a weekend business trip. Actually, it was a friend and I both who had an experience with a little spirit child searching for her mother. My friend was very sensitive, intuitive and psychic, and we both knew what to expect that evening while walking through the "Haunted Tour". Both of us, felt the presence of this young child. She was very attached to Karen (my friend).
Karen kept speaking to the child telling her to go into the light that-that was where her mother was. While we were walking down the street to get back to the car; we both still felt this child. It was not until we were driving away did the presence of this child leave both of us.

St. Louis Cemetery No. 1
New Orleans, Louisiana
Established in 1789, St. Louis No. 1 is the oldest extant cemetery in New Orleans. It is located on Basin street one block from the border of the French Quarter. It was built when New Orleans was under Spanish control, so the wall vault system that was popular in Spain at that time was used. This method was also practical since New Orleans is under sea level and below ground burials caused caskets to float. The city was in serious need of burial space because of the fire in 1788 that destroyed more than 80% of the city in one night. There was also a flood as well as the infamous yellow fever epedimic that crowded the city's first cemetery on St. Peter street. The rise of dead bodies was so high that the cemetery workers were constantly intoxicated with liquor to tolerate the stench of the deceased. To finish reading article, please click here: St. Louis Cemetery No.1
This cemetery is said to be haunted by the ghost of Voodoo Queen-Marie Laveau. It said that her spirit chants an New Orleans Santeria Hoodoo Voodoo curse to trespassers. They say her chant can be heard on a nearby street called Rampart Street. Local residents say this started a few years because of the vandalism and the condition of the cemetery.
Often believers, tourist and locals will bring small offerings to Marie Laveau's grave; in hopes of being blessed by her supernatural powers. It is said that if her ghost should appear to you in form of a large black voodoo cat, you should cross yourself three times and never turn your back on her because she will place a curse on you forever to do her bidding.
Another ghost that haunts this cemetery is known as Henry. He is often seen walking up to people asking if they know about Vignes' tomb. Many of the tour guides have said he appears ragged and lost. He has blue eyes that will look straight into yours. Sometimes he will tap you on the shoulder or lead you down a tight alley way asking, "Do you know anything about this tomb here?" Then disappears. His voice has be caught many times on EVP's saying "I need to rest!"
There is a ghost named Alphonse who is lonely and said often seen carrying flowers and vases from other tombs and placing them on his. He is always seen with a smile on his face, then begins to cry and disappears. Some have reported that he will grab your hand and ask if you can help him find his way home.
Orbs, ghost photos, EVP"S, strange paranormal phenomena and ghost activity, Voodoo rituals, witchcraft, and haunting's to many to mention all happen in this the most haunted Cemetery in America. Visitors to the cemetery are advised to go there at their own risk.

Athens Mental Hospital Cemetery (also known as The Ridges Cemetery)-Athens, Ohio
I tried to find the exact address to the cemetery so I could include a google map, but the only thing I could find was the street: North Ridge Road, Athens, OhioThe stories of the cemetery being haunted are really not surprising considering the horrible conditions the patients lived in at the hospital. (This cemetery was formerly a "Mental Health Hospital") The majority of the gravestones contain only a patient number.
When the hospital opened in 1874, it specialized in the treatment of the criminally and mentally insane patients. it was known as The Athens Lunatic Asylum. The hospital became overcrowded and soon lost its reputation of being a calm peaceful place. It is told that once the institution became over crowded the patients experienced things such as: ice water baths, electroshock therapies and lobotomies as a regular practice.
The main asylum building is inaccessible now, but the graveyard has always been there and pretty much is accessible by anyone. It is definitely a terrifying place to visit after midnight.
Athens, Ohio is considered one the most haunted places in Ohio. It nestles in the Appalachian Mountains that are considered a region of magick and ghostly folklore. Many ghosts roam this area along with the ghost stories that accompany them. It is also said that angels have shed tears in local cemeteries
One Legend tells the story of a man who went to flag down a train to get help for the town people who had been quarantined because of a measles outbreak. The townspeople were running out of supplies, so this man went for help. Tragically, he was struck by the train and to this day haunts this stretch of tracks.
Athens' has been plagued with tales of cults and strange rituals associated with Appalachian Folklore. Because this area being considered very haunted, legends state that satanic groups use to perform rituals here because it has many power spots and they have birthed many related stories.
In the northeast corner of the cemetery you can see a circle of graves that legend says this circle of graves were created by witches to hold séances, other stories say it was it was prank done by college students. Other stories relate to hearing screams across the wooden bridge in the woods accompanied by seeing strange lights.

- I'm English (and live in England) but for 2 months I lived in Athens, Ohio and someone took me to the assylum and cemetary late at night. I didn't see anything- possibly because I had my eyes closed and was begging my friend to take me home again!! Someone told me at the time that OU had taken over some of the building and was planning to use it for classrooms or was using it for classrooms- I'm not quite sure. Crazy.
There's one horrible story about a deaf mute lady who they forgot about and bricked up the door to her cell- apparently the reopened room has stains that they can't get rid of.
