Haunted Dolls Whispering In The Night
By Chloe
Hi my name is Chloe. I am just an ordinary child well I think any way. Ever since I was around five years old I could here whispers in the night, so could my sister but she always thought and said, "Chloe, I know its you stop trying to scare me!" I would always answer, "its the dolls" and I didn't even know what I was saying it just kinda slipped out of my mouth like I was being controlled by some kind of source but my mum never believed anything me and my sister said about it. She always said, "stop it girls your just being silly!" But every time she said it she looked very uncertain or worried.A few months after this started my uncle and cousin came over to stay from Ireland. I hadn't seen them both since I was around two and at the time when they were there I was then five. My cousin slept in me and my sisters bedroom and she always woke up at exactly the same time every night with me and said, "Its the dolls! Its the dolls again. They're coming to get us but they cant get out." That's when my mum got really worried.
After about 5 years of voices in the night our mum started to tell us everything that she knew. "When I was your age my aunt gave me these plaster dolls and two months later she sadly passed away. I never played with them they creeped me out so I just put them in the cupboard, locked away and I always played with my Barbie dolls in my room. After a week of locking the dolls in the cupboard I started to have nightmares about them and I could hear voices like you but they were different. They said 'let us out we wont hurt you, we promise' but then the next night they said 'when we get out were gonna hurt you just like your aunt. ' I still have the dolls I'm really sorry but there under your bed."
Me and my sister froze. The words echoes in my mind, "I'm sorry, they're under you bed." Now I am 15 and we sold the dolls in a car boot sale. I wonder if they still whisper to their new owners?

The Doll At The Garden Door
I was about two years old and my mum was feeding me my bottle (at that age I was able to talk quite a lot). My older sisters had left their dolls out in the garden overnight. It was early hours of the morning and I was dozing off to sleep when I said to my mum, 'dolly's at the door and she's saying 'let me in, let me in, I'm your friend' she's knocking mummy.' Being at a young age where I wasn't able to make things like this up, my mum panicked and took me up to my father.
As we got up the stairs there was a cassette tape on the banisters that flew off without being knocked. My mum was very scared. The next day my mum opened the garden door and found the doll on the floor right outside the door. My sister repeatedly insisted that she had left it at the far corner of the garden and it would have taken a fair distance for the doll to have moved that far.

One Mysterious Doll
One day me and my family went to New York. We went past a scary doll shop and there was a CHUCKY doll and when we went past it I saw the doll roll its eyes at me. I was scared, I didn't tell nobody, but then the next day in the morning I woke up at 7:00 AM,and saw a doll open the front door and run out as fast as it could. I thought I was still asleep, but I did not know my brother was behind me and I told him if he saw that and he said, "yes" so right there I knew I was not dreaming cause my bro never appears in my dreams. So later that day we went back to the scary doll shop, but there was a Toys R Us there, so then this dude said don't you people remember they closed that shop last year cause the devil was possessing it." Right there next to the Toys R Us I saw the chucky doll with a sign that said, "I'm coming to get you and at the very bottom it said "victor borrero". That was in 2009,and they closed it on 2008.

Creepy Blinking Dolls
This began about four years ago, when I first moved into my house. Ever since I had walked into the door way I felt something was wrong with this place. I was about nine-ish at the time and didn't really know how to take it and I still do not know.
I had just gotten home from school, and had turned on the TV. Homework was finished, so not much to worry about. Anyway, I flipped on the TV (positioned in front of a window facing a wall with a vent) when two little red dots appeared on the screen, like eyes. It stalled for about 5 minutes then faded back into the screen. I was startled by this and switched of the TV. This happened about 12 times everytime I watched TV. We repositioned the TV for space purposes and the red eyes stopped. The growling noises happened about 2 years later.
It was 9:30. I had laid in my bed for about an hour before I drifted into a daze. My dog, Bandit, laid by me. I awoke suddenly by a hideous groaning noise coming from under my bed. Sort of like a man in agony and a mix of anger with it. It was 5:30 am. It happened the next few weeks also, then stopped, then started again all at the same exact time, each different days/weeks apart. This also happened to my 16 year old brother, but instead he heard it outside his window at 12:00 (I heard it too,but wasn't really all that scared.) My mother smudges the house monthly, but no luck lately. The doll incident was very strange.
I was cleaning my room but had just gotten to my porcelain dolls. I began dusting one of them off when out of the corner of my eye, I saw my littlest one (Cinderella, as hinted for her size and features), blink twice. I continued on thinking it was just me. I came Anastasia (like the movie) and nothing happened so I finished with her, then came Elisabeth (my middle name, she looks like me), Then Mae (she looks like my friend Netty Mae) But as as I was cleaning Mae, My Japanese doll, Mulan, fell over. Her stand was completely stable so I Cant explain why She did this. I will update you on new happenings in my home. Thank you for reading.

Robert Did It
I just saw Robert the Doll. Something touched my shin when I was standing next to the doll. I looked down and was shocked to see nothing there.A friend took a picture at that time of Robert the Doll without asking permission and it turned out black among other pictures that were normal.
When I got home my dog licked my leg (she doesn't normally do that) IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE I WAS TOUCHED in the museum.
Just now, I was playing a game of solitaire on the computer and my dog came over and licked the same spot again. This was after the children had gone to bed. She (Daisy the Dog) never comes and sees me after the kids are asleep. NEVER.
I was so creeped out I almost started crying. Scary.

Scary Clown Doll
Another thing too was I never owned any clowns neither did my younger sister or any of my family have any thing that would resemble that. I also asked my mother 23 years later she said no. My brother's girlfriends older sister, had that same experience when she was about 6, they said she went through a lot of therapy over it.
To this day I still wonder what the hell that was. It wasn't the last weird paranormal or weird thing seen either seen lots of weird stuff like that. I was wondering if someone could help shed some light on that for me maybe send me some where to research this or could explain what it was.

Dolls ~ Origins, Magic & Ancient Beginnings

Dolls have been a popular toy for many years. They have also been an item of collection. Plastic or porcelain faces, whether beloved by a child or sitting in a pristine hutch, they look at us with their never ending expressions. Many cultures have different types of dolls even dolls that were never intended to be used as playthings.
Dolls have been used to represent coming of age, as an offering for the hope of fertility, and in some cases used to absorb the energy of someone and create magic.
Perhaps the oldest doll (or doll fragment) found to date is part of an alabaster doll from the Babylonian period. There are also wooden dolls that have been found in ancient Egyptian graves that date back to 3,000 BC. These dolls were actually intended for religious or ritual use, often depicting the gods and goddesses of their worship. In Ancient Greece......

You Wonder Why I Hate Dolls
We Just moved into a new house around our old area. The house was awesome and we loved every part of it, except for the part where the old lady who lived here before.
Her husband has died 2 years earlier, and she was having depression issues and constantly saying the wanted to get out of the house because it reminds her of him. We loved the house so we bought it anyways not knowing what was ahead for us.
My sisters were unpacking there room with my mom, and I was done with my room, so I was playing on the computer. I have this really old doll that sits on my shelf above my bed. It has a faded blue dress, brown hair like mine , and green eyes, so it looks a lot like me, and I have no clue who I got it from in the first place. So I was playing the computer and out of the corner of my eye, I saw the doll look at me and smile with its eyes turning black. When I noticed it completely, it went back to normal. Being so scared I slept in my sisters room.
The next morning I went to go check the doll, and I realized a black spot on the back of the dress and black blotches on the eyes. After being officially creeped form that, its locked in a box in my basement. I don't thing it will give up on bugging me though. Whenever I am alone, I hear these moaning voices, then a BANG from my basement. I went to go check on that doll and I found the box ripped partly.
So now the doll is gone, but I still hear the noises.

Creepy Freya
For Christmas a few years ago, my Grandparents got me a big porcelain doll called Freya. She had red curly hair and life like blue eyes. I thanked my Grandparents, not telling them I have a phobia of dolls. My dad set her up in my room for me and I forgot about her for the rest of the day.Every time I woke up, in the middle of the night or in the morning, Freya had moved. Not much, but just a little. Her head would move towards me and so would her arms. I couldn't even look at her face before screaming. I asked my brother if he was doing this, but he denied it.
One night a friend came over and slept in the bed beside me. She woke me up around 3 am because the doll was really giving her the creeps. So I placed a coat over her face and we fell back to sleep. When we woke up, the coat was off Freya and she was staring at me. I screamed. I didn't tell anyone, but my friend and i were petrified. I didn't touch her for months, and just left her on my table, propped up.
The next Christmas, I got twin dolls and a small Victorian doll which were gorgeous. We had moved house, and I had Freya still in a box in my room. I loved these dolls, as they weren't too life like and were fun to play with. The small Victorian doll, though, was like Freya. She moved.
I put up the twins and the small Victorian doll on my window sill and went to bed. When I woke up, the twins were no where to be seen and Freya stood tall beside the Victorian doll. The Victorian doll's hood had been moved and she was smiling. I rushed over to the window, and saw the twins on the pavement outside my house. The windows had been firmly shut when I went to bed.
I had to throw away the twins as they were in ruins, but I packed away Freya securely. I still have the little Victorian doll on my window sill, though she hasn't moved since then.

Dolly Doll
Many people have old of forgotten toys. Like there childhood favorite toy. Yet some toys want to keep playing tell the end.
I was at my grandma's house it was a cold fall day. We where helping her move so me and my brother got a week off of school. I'm only eleven but still. I was in a old room where my great grandmother was in until she passed away. I found my great grandmother's favorite toy and that's what she left for me. The toy was a little creepy it had dull eyes, a grim smile and was very pale. My mom was happy that I found her.
About two day's passed and I started to get sicker and sicker. My mom took me to the doctor. They said nothing was the matter. My mom soon saw that "dolly" was getting happy her smile got bigger every day I was sick. She went from pale to tan and I went from tan to ghost pale. Then it was scary I became so sick I had to go to the hospital and dolly's face had a great big smile on her face.
I felt way better being away from dolly. my mom throw her away. Then me and my mom was driving when dolly was here and the doll said "I want you dead!" My mom stopped on the side of the rode grabbed dolly and dug a hole and put dolly there and put it on fire.
Dolly was the worst toy ever. I got back to how I was but still I will never ever touch that place ever!

The Jamestown Red Eyed Doll
Well we walked in a old antique shop, then as I was looking at the antique porcelain dolls, one scared me in particular. It was on a White stand and as I stared it, it's eyes turned green to red. I was creeped out. I knew I felt negative energy.
I found my friends mom. I told her my story. She agreed that we leave the antique shop.
So to this day, I don't go back to Jamestown.

Demon Elmo
My sister kept her old tickle me Elmo. It creeps me out. When I look at it it glares at me. I cannot wait to get rid of that thing. It somehow does not move. It does not try to kill me or anything. But it is alive. I know it. I hate when my 15 year old sister says "It has been apart of my life for 15 years, I am not selling him."
She then picks him up. And he sort of smiles at her. And looks back me and glares. I hear him in the middle of the night. Although he is not giggling. He is having a riot because my sister is not home. I know he hates me. But does not want to hurt me. He knows my sister loves me dearly and if he killed me she would blame him and throw him out. So he does good. I never hear him laugh though. It is weird. I close my sisters door because of him. I never go near him. Except when I turn on my sisters TV. I gulp. And I close my door when I play with my dolls. I get scared.
I am still worried to touch him. I can not wait for him to go. I am worried also because my beloved dog sleeps in there. But sometimes sleeps with me. I am still worried to this day if he will come get me. I hope he does not. If he does, I work good with knives. This is true.

Ghost Doll Laughter and Movement
And another part of the story I was sleeping in my bed and I had a feeling about something so I woke up and suddenly I heard a doll's laughter for just a few seconds then it went out. Anyway two hours before I went to sleep I saw young man or teenager with pale skin and black hair turned very slowly to look at me creepily and when I saw him and he saw me he vanished into thin air. And two hours later my sister was awake and she yelled, "Tiffani, Tiffani, Tiffani, wake up, wake up! And I asked What is it? In a medium try to "understanding" voice. And she said "Did you hear that terrifying hissing noise coming from the closet toward your bed"?
Anyway I had a friend that used to come over with his digital camera and took pictures with us in each room. And we took pictures of our bedroom and we found a ghost orb with a dolls face in it. And we took pictures in the den and I zoomed in and I saw the whole body of the doll and it looked exactly like a joker doll but with a smile on its face smiling back at the camera(us), and it looked mischievous with a smile (grin) on its face .Anyway my sister told me that we always had problems with dolls in our family.
I know that there are a lot of skeptics out there but I just want to let you know that these things can happen to anyone and people that go in a haunted house non-believers come out firm-believers.

Robert The Famous Haunted Doll
Robert was a doll created by a Jamaican nurse (supposed voodoo doctor too) who was the nurse for a young 6 year old boy named Gene who was the son of very strict parents Robert Eugene Otto and Mrs. Otto (sorry I forget her name). The nurse was hired to take care of little Gene (real name Robert) when his parents weren't around. The Jamaican nurse supposedly got on the wrong side of the mother and was fired; but not before giving the boy (Robert Gene Otto II) a doll made to look like him. The doll was given the name 'Robert' because of the young boy's name. It's been said Gene "never let the doll out of his sight" Gene did everything with the doll. The parents had no problem with the doll at first because it always kept Gene company. He always had Robert sleep beside him.Gene would play with his toys and make a little noise but then on occasion he would just stop and a quiet conversation could be heard outside of his room. The servants of the Otto family (the family was wealthy) would hear Gene's voice and then another voice that sounded nothing like Gene. Then Mrs. Otto started to hear the voices and it made her and the servants very uneasy. When Mrs. Otto came into the room during the conversation she would see Gene cowering in the corner while Robert sat in a chair or on the bed staring at the boy. After a while everyone started to become very scared and saw silverware and other dishes all over the kitchen. Clothes were thrown everywhere too. Sounds of giggling at night scared the mother and servants and when they went to see what it was they say broken toys everywhere.
Gene was blamed for everything happening (of course) and every time he was he always said, "Robert did it" and the mother obviously didn't believe him. But the servants, however did believe Gene. Gene's concerned aunt came over and put Robert in a box in the attic...and the next morning she was found dead in her bed. When Gene was a few years older and after his parents passed away, he still held on to Robert and lived with him in what is now Key West Martello Museum. Gene still had servants to cook for him and do everything his parents once did. But they never went into the "Turret Room" which was Gene's room...they were too scared. After a while Gene himself passed away and Robert was picked up by new owners many years later and was stored away in the attic...he didn't like that very much. Robert was spotted throughout the house and was seen holding a kitchen knife at the foot of the owners bed one time. The new owners left fast and now Robert rests in a glass case in the East Martello Museum where he is very comfortable and well guarded.

Robert Did It - A Doll And An Evil Imaginary Friend
The Doll Dishes and Aliens
One day I was watching TV in my room. I think I was talking to my doll, but of course it never spoke back because it doesn't have any batteries or any voice recordings in it. So, I was just playing with it and then I accidentally squeezed it. It said something like,"Mama, Dada." I got really freaked out so I threw it in the closet and went downstairs.
I tried to tell my parents, but they didn't believe me. My sister even agreed that our house was weird because she told me that one night our parents were out, my other sister was taking a shower, and I was dead asleep. She told me she heard someone doing the dishes downstairs and she knew that no one was home. She told my other sister, when she was done with her shower, to come downstairs and see who was downstairs. She told her no one was downstairs and she told her to quit worrying.
I'm so glad we moved out of that house because things started getting a little weird... Even in the neighborhood! My sister told me that one time she was at her friends house and it was dark. They were on the trampoline and they heard something in the bushes. They stopped jumping and listened for a bit. They didn't hear it anymore, so they kept on jumping. After a while, they heard it again. So, they stopped jumping again. My sister looked in front of her and she saw this white thing that looked like a deformed cat, but bigger than a cat, and it had weird eyes and was hunched over. Her friend saw it too so they ran inside screaming. They looked at the window and they saw the thing jumping on the trampoline. Her friend tried to tell her mom what happened, but she didn't believe them. They never saw that thing again.
Thanks for reading, all these stories are true. And this is my first time posting something like this on a website so... Here you go.

Debbie, The Evil Haunted Porcelain Doll
It was my little sisters tenth birthday and we were having a gathering with all of our family. One of her uncles had seen this beautiful porcelain doll and said "I have to get this for Jazmine" (my little sister). As soon as she got it she loved it but what she didn't know was that it was evil. Pure evil!Later that night everything changed. Jazmine had left Debbie on the couch, she forgot she had left it there and had went to sleep. Well I was just watching TV and not really worrying about that doll even though I had heard many terrifying doll stories, still this one didn't seem so bad.
As I was watching TV I heard something whisper my name in a sweet voice. I thought it was one of my sisters, they always tried to scare me! As I turned so did Debbie. I was so terrified I almost wet myself. I thought maybe it was just cause it was late and I was tired, so I went to bed.
That night I just laid in bed. Everything was silent and I heard footstep but not like any other like little footsteps running towards my door. Then I heard my doorknob turning I jumped up and by the crack of my door I seen Debbie. I looked into her eyes, they were big beautiful blue eyes. They were as blue as the sky but yet so cold. I will never forget those eyes. I quickly shut my door and locked it. All night I heard that door jiggling. Then it stopped for the night and I fell asleep.
So the next day everything went well, until it got dark then that's when everything got really scary. This time I wasn't the only one who this beautiful yet terrifying doll tortured that night. As me and my sister were watching TV we heard footsteps and that's when we got really silent. As the footsteps came closer, our hearts were beating faster and louder and there she was, Debbie.
I quickly got up and ran, actually we all ran. I ran toward the kitchen looking for something to defend myself with. The best thing I could find was a pan. As I heard her coming towards me. I braced myself. We were face to face. I was dealing with my nightmare, something I thought could never happen to me and I pinched myself to make sure this wasn't a dream but in fact a nightmare.
I ran as fast as I could and as I turned around I could see her right behind me. My heart racing faster and faster. I was cornered. I had no where to run, no where to hide. Its as if she wanted this to happened to me and as if she wanted to see me in pain. She took one step forward. I took a swing at her with all my might.
She jumped up and said this to me, which I would never forget "your life is in my hands". Debbie came towards me biting my leg. Pain running up and down my leg. I screamed and took another swing at her. I kept hitting and hitting her. as I looked down at her it looked like blood was spilling out of her as if she was alive or something.
I would have never thought this would happen to me but it did and to this day that terrifying night still haunts me. Never will I forget those beautiful eyes that brought so much terror. Who would have known that Debbie was so evil. Well Jazmine, lets just say that she's just not the same anymore. We never figured out why she had attacked us but we didn't care as long as it was all over!

Baby Supernatural Occurrence
But boy was I surprised when I heard a demonic voice answer "I'M UP HERE."
I looked up to the vent directly above my head and only had a second to realize that doll was in the vent before it dropped out onto my face. I screamed in terror, trying to pry it off of me. When I finally did, I ran outside and threw the doll into my neighbor's backyard.
After the whole ordeal, I went off to bed, satisfied.

Coast To Coast Ghosts:
True Stories of Hauntings Across America
An employee of the St. James Hotel in New Mexico watches in shock as a fair-haired toddler with a terribly disfigured face disappears into the floor. This is just one of the paranormal mysteries Leslie Rule shares with us-a result of extensive interviews and research uncovering the reasons behind ghost sightings across the country. Coast to Coast Ghosts features dozens of spine-tingling, real-life ghost stories and approximately 50 black-and-white photographs, taken by Rule, including some believed to have captured actual apparitions. Only the reader can decide. . . .This is one of the best books I've read about true ghost stories. The writer reaches right in and grabs your attention...making you feel like your right there, experiencing these events right along with the helpless victims sharing their lives with these spirits. Included with the ghostly tales are a listing of haunted colleges and information to "signs that a place is haunted". It was wonderful to read that this writer was not just writing about other peoples experiences, but she includes several of her own personal experiences with ghosts...making me realize that she just didn't interview and write, she was sympathetic to something she understood to be true, something she has personally experienced. I would highly recommend this book to all that are crazy about reading true ghost stories. Fantastic writer! Hope to see more books from Leslie Rule in the future on this subject! ~ Kimberly L. Do You Believe a Doll Can Be Haunted?
My Doll Is Alive!
My BFF said " What is it?" she asked.
"I swear my Alex doll just turned her head towards me." I cried. I saw her wink. I told my BFF I would call her back. I sat up on my bed. And asked her, " Alex, Do you think I am a good friend?" I asked.
" We will always be friends, Me, you, And your BFF." she whispered.
I was shocked. She winked once again. I laid down again. And put her next to me. "I do not like when you leave me here. I wish you could take me to class when it starts." she said.
"I wish I could do that too. But my teacher will not let me!" I said. A tear leaked down her eye. I told her not to cry. I told her that I would take her outside. I took her outside. And I did not know what to do. I asked her if she wanted me to take her to the top of the kennel. She said yes. I climbed up and sat her down on a piece of wood. I grabbed some berries and sat them next to her. I saw her arm move. And she picked up a berry. And took a bite out of it. " This is very good." she said. So I brought her more. She told me to take her down. So I did. I took her inside. I told her to go to sleep. So I placed her in her bed. And this is all true.

Harold the Demon Doll
There once was a farmer named Harold and two boys who lived down the road from him named Steve and Alan. Well, the boys didn't like him at all. So one day they decided to make a doll that looked like Harold that would scare the crows off from eating their corn. They brought it inside the house and were eating when it grunted.
"Did you here that," Steve said.
"Ah, it's probably just mice and bugs rustling the hay inside." Alan said.
"Yea, you're right." said Steve.
The next night, they heard that the real Harold had died. Well, they were eating when Harold grunted again for the second time. They got pretty tired of hearing it, so they pretended like they were mad at it and kept throwing food at it and other things.
That night when they were washing the dishes, Harold mysteriously got up from the ground he was sitting on and walked out the door. They were terrified! They went ahead and went to sleep that night and the next morning was the day they milked the cows for another farmer that paid them. They had packed everything up and were going down the road where the farmer lived when they realized that they had forgotten the stool that they sat on.
"One of us should go back to the cabin to get it." said Steve.
"You can, I don't want to go back there with that thing crawling, or walking, around my house!" said Alan.
"Fine, we'll draw straws to see who goes." It was Steve. "Be careful, Steve," said Alan.
So Steve walked back to the cabin to get the stool. It took him a while. Alan got worried and started the truck to go back to the house. When he got there, there was no sign of Steve. Or Harold. He started to call his friend's name, but there was no answer. Maybe I should go get the sheriff, he thought. No, he's probably just playing a joke on me and trying to scare my heart out.
"Alright, Steve. Joke's over, you can come out now." What came out wasn't Steve. Harold, the demon doll came over the roof, holding what looked to be a skin of some sort. It was Steve's skin. Harold had killed him and was now stretching his bloody skin on the roof to dry in the sun. Alan never came back to see the demon doll again.
This is actually a folklore story. I just had to share it.

I ran out of the house and my friend followed. When we reached the front door they were back and we told them what happened and the daughter that played in the room said she saw them move before when she was going to sleep and she said she named one of them Sally. About a month later we were digging up the backyard and saw like a grave thing and it said "In memory of Sally" and we never went back to that house again.

The History of Porcelain Dolls
The Night of the Doll
I had just stared in the capered for 5 minutes and then I saw the dolls head creeping out her eyes were a beautiful color of blue, then she came out of the cupboard and walked past me. She went too my friend I stared in horror as the doll bit my friends leg. So I went over too the doll but as I did my friend screamed in pain so I ran down stairs got a big pot and hit the doll 5 times. So then the doll said: Why wont you play with me why Chloe why? So then I told my friends Mum. She had to admit that was probably the way my friends Gran died. ~ Charlotte Steele, Copyright 2010

Our Haunted Lives:
True Life Ghost Encounters
Our Haunted Lives explores the profound nature of ghosts and spirits. Through personal interviews, the author captures the many different facets of the experience - the touching, where people come in contact with a loved one who's passed on; the funny, where pranks are played or peculiar disembodied sounds are heard; and the frightening, where people still feel shaken by what they saw, heard, and felt.
Ghosts are unbiased - they appear to people from all walks of life, ages, cultures, and religious backgrounds. Our Haunted Lives features accounts from famous hauntings, such as an extensive interview with George Lutz - the man whose experiences with the paranormal in Amityville, Long Island launched debates, books, and movies. You'll hear from police officers who were the first on the scene after a homeowner reported a break-in, only to find the disturbance wasn't caused by someone living. Doctors who had a brush with the supernatural after losing a patient on the operating table will speak about the very emotional and profound events they witnessed.
No, we are not alone.

"In Our Haunted Lives, experienced paranormal researcher Jeff Belanger allows readers the thrill of experiencing firsthand accounts of haunting phenomena as told in the witnesses' own words. It is quite likely readers will be looking into the shadowy corners of their rooms while reading this book." - Brad Steiger, author, Real Ghosts, Restless Spirits, and Haunted Places
Doll Comes To Life
My mum heard me and my brother screaming so she came in and saw the doll. She froze at the door, the doll turned and look at her and she started trying to stop the doll. Eventually it just stopped moving and collapsed.
My mum never let me have a doll after that not even Barbies and whenever she saw one she would start having a panic attack. I know your probably thinking this can't happen but it did. I can hardly believe it myself to be honest.

- Alright, so i was at some persons house after i had come back with my freind after a party. so me and him were pretty plowed and fell asleep on this kids couch. well at kids house(stranger) there are about 6 porceleing dolls in glass doll cases on the wall. well about an hour threw sleeping.i woke up to kind of a clicking noice or chattering of glass. well you have to keep in mind that these glass cases are all locked well i roll over and look up at the wall, and the case in the middle was open and no doll inside. so i woke my freind up and told him that we should go sleep upstairs cause the living room was creeping me out well he said ok but was very sluggish about moving. so i sat up and was grabbing my drink when i look towards the staircase to go up, and i quickly saw something walk up that was small.so me and colton get upstairs and the doll is siiting on his bed with a smile that litterally went to both of her ears and her eyes were big. me colton grabbed are coats and went to my house.

- Not really a 'haunting' as such but this was just weird.
I have lots of problems sleeping at night and one night i had had a fitful nights sleep and had been waking up and dozing a lot of times. Then i turned over on my pillow, eyes open, and, lying next to me on the pillow was a doll. It looked like mine bit its features had been stretched out and it looked evil. I shut my eyes and was too scared to open them again but when i finally did it wasnt there. I dont get nightmares or anything but i was just wondering if anyone had had simialr experiences.
I also have another one. I was in my bed, in a different room, and i was again not sleeping very well. I knew i was awake at this point because i heard the tv downstairs and my parents talking. Suddenly, out of nowhere this bluish gas that looked like a face rushed towarsd me, it happened tice very fast, i screamed out and was very scared! i couldnt sleep in that room for ages afterwards and ive only began sleeping in there again

- @leopold I've also experienced where I couldn't move, but had my eyes open. It was very....Creepy. When I turned off my tv I was scared for some reason, I thought I was just being paranoid. I fell alseep and right away I had a nightmare I was thrown into a room and something was following me. I opened my eyes right away but I couldn't move... slowly I felt something shaking me faster and faster I started getting dizzy. I looked straight foward and I had these leaf ordamints wich started to look like blood dripping. I freaked and tried screaming nothing came out. I started being shaken again and slowly got to move my legs one at a time it was slow, I finally started to cry "please". It stopped I snapped out of it and looked at the time it all happened in 20 min from the moment I got scared till after I got up. I was terrified and couldn't sleep. even today I still get scared sleeping especially since I lock my door.

- Well, I have something to tell which is 100% true, no lies, no dishonesty, so here goes. About once every 2 months I experience sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is when you wake up but you can't move at all, no matter how hard you try. But atleast it stopped now from January 2011, until August month. I have a teddy, I didn't really think of a name for him yet, but I am usually alone at home so I talk to him sometimes. On the 17th October, like I usually do, I said goodnight to him and fell asleep in front of a movie on my computer. Later that night, at exactly 00:00 I woke up. I've realised something really unpleasant, I can't move, not a muscle, but this time, only my eyes could be opened for some strange reason. As I opened my eyes I saw in the light of my computer's monitor a shadow, wondering: is that...? And as I came to, I saw it was the teddy, he was actually sitting right on top of me. And for more freaky business, he was like really heavy. So heavy, that I couldn't move my chest up, in fact, like I said, I couldn't move at all. I've decided to hope for the best and fell asleep after about 20 minutes. As I woke up the next morning, the teddy was lying right next to me with the smilehe always has. After that I made a video of him and put it on YouTube, the video is called: The Teddy Of Terror. I was always a bit scared, not completely, but a bit scared of the teddy, he was soft and nice, but he always seemed so...human-ish. Because, when I play with him, sort of, and his arms flap, it's as if he's like a dead person...I don't know how to describe it, and also when I sit in front of my computer, it always feels as if somethings watching me from behind, and when I look behind me, I always find that the teddy is looking at me. I didn't throw him away, yet. But I am not planning to, call me crazy, but I have an imagination bigger than an elephant's bottom. If you want to watch the video I've written earlier about, go to YouTube and type in: The Teddy of Terror and my YouTube name is DefconInfinite

- I tried to leave a comment on youtube but it wouldn't let me. I saw your teddy movie and it was soooo scary, but sad too. Because teddys should never be evil like that. Obviously something bad has the real teddy hostage inside. We know about things like that at ravensbreath dot com. I hope the real teddy gets free soon and doesn't scare you anymore either. (btw, good video, well done)

- Wow! brilliant fascinating stories. I was an only child up until I was 12 and I always used to wish my dolls would come to life so we could play together (wonder if any other only children can relate to this?) O.M.G I would have a bloody heart attack if a doll moved or spoke to me now, though. mind you I am now 35 old. Isn't igt a shame that people can't keep their sense of wonder and open mindedness all their lives.xx

- I've heard of some legitimately haunted dolls, but it seems like the majority of these stories are made up by someone about 13 years old. Some of them don't even make sense. They are obviously fabricated by a kid. Any adults out there with some (true) stories about haunted dolls?....anyone?

- once my sister had a toy girrafe we got from a trifth store and it had a voice box in it but i was preety sure it couldn't talk because whenever we pressed the button to make it talk it didn't. i think it didn't even have batteries. once early in the morning when all of us were asleep my mom was doing laundry she put the girrafe in, i don't know if she took out the voice box or not but it would be impossible for it to talk because the washing machine was full of water. anyways while everything including the girrafe was being washed she heard voices coming from the room that had the washer in it. she said it was muffled but it still sounded like someone was right inside that room talking, it was a grown mans voice. i didn't know what it was until i read this today know i think that the girrafe was haunted especially because it as from the the trifth store and they sometimes put dead peoples stuff in there. it happened a few years ago. i forgot exactly what happended to it but i think we threw it in the trash when we were moving.

- My little sister had this 'Stretch-Me Elmo' toy and that thing was pure evil. This happened earlier this year by the way, she got it for Christmas 2010.I'm 15, and my sisters are 2 and 5. It was supposed to talk and giggle when you pulled on it, but it would do it even when no one was home. And it would show up in the strangest places. I was cooking dinner and when I opened the spice cabinet the creepy thing was in there giggling like crazy. It fell out when I jumped back and bounced lifelessly from the stove onto the floor. It got burned a little on one of its arms when it fell on the stove. No one had put it in there and mom was just as freaked out as I was. My sisters thought it was funny, they thought it was a joke. Later my mom heard Elmo giggling in the attic above her head. Nobody's been in the attic since we moved in the house. It would also turn up in our beds, it would just start laughing and vibrating and I remember waking up screaming several times, so did my mom and sisters. Our pets were scared to death of the thing and avoided it like the plague, hissing and barking when it went into its giggle fits. Mom threw it away, but it turned up in the yard a week later and my sister brought it inside saying "Elmo's home!". We panicked, and mom locked it in a crate in my sisters room for the night saying she'd take it to the junkyard herself in the morning. Both my sisters came runningn to my room crying in the middle of the night. They said that things were flying around their room. I let them sleep with me and since I could hear a few muffled crashing noises coming from down the hall I locked my door and curled up with my sisters in bed. Mom was a deep sleeper and her room was on the other side of the house, so she didn't wake up. In the morning, we found their room was a wreck, toy chest overturned, curtains and bedsheets ripped down, closet drawers laying empty, and the only thing still sitting exactly where we left it was the toy crate mom had locked Elmo in. There was a clean circle around it about half a foot radius while the rest of the floor was covered in stuffed animals, Legos and other misc. toys. We told her about last night and I think she believed us. Mom left us to clean up whie she took the crate to the junkyard joking about having it put through the car crusher. She said she heard the vile things' muffled, demented giggling all the way there. After that things went back to normal. Mom never allowed my sister another Elmo toy ever again.
One of the creepiest things about this story happened just about a month ago. We were at Goodwill shopping for clothes when my sister went to the toy section. We were right down the aisle from her and all of a sudden she started wailing. We ran over to see what was wrong when we heard laughing. On the shelf she was looking at was another "Stretch-Me Elmo" giggling and vibrating on top of some old teddy bear. I just stared at it while mom told my sis it wasn't the same one. She settled down and took my other sister over to the kiddie playpen area where people leave their kids while they shop. I was still staring at it and it was still laughing. Mom followed my eyes and then we both sorta bolted from the aisle so fast we got wierd looks from a nearby clerk hanging up some dresses on a rack. I know its impossible but there was a burn mark on the arm, right where it got burned when it fell from the spice cabinet to the stove. I hate that thing, and I feel sorry for whatever poor soul buys it a Goodwill next.
Believe it or not this is all true. My little sister still crys when she watches Seasame Street at Granma's.
