    I love walking in the woods. A great sense of peace and calm sweeps over me in the woods. I have a great respect for the life in the forest and moonlight walks are so beautiful, but at times can be a bit unnerving.

    I recommend hiking in the woods on a full moon night. A very sacred experience, made a little less spooky thanks to the light of the moon. Three friends and I once spent an unplanned night in the woods when we lost our trail and it got dark before we could find it. Being with others made it a fun adventure. On my own, I probably would have freaked!

    I love Hiking and the woods but even in the mid afternoon~ deep in a thick wooded forest, it can get pretty scary!! It's like another world ...creepy if your alone ....don't go in the woods alone!!!!! every sound is amplified and imaginations can run wild fast :) nice lens

    Fun and interesting read. I love walking through the forest in the daylight and quite honestly (whether it be fear based or not) have not wandered in the moonlight hours. When I think about it - I think it would be spooky.

    I love being in woodland but I do find it a little creepy on my own. I was once going to walk along a woodland path on my way somewhere at night, but hadn't been prepared for the total absence of light. It was a very safe place but I felt a little unnerved just the same. I soon turned back!

    Awesome! I love walking in the woods. I don't remember ever being frightened in the woods. I am a lot more concerned walking the streets in a big city at night. Talk about hunting grounds!

    I've always been creeped out by the darkness beyond the firelight when camping.

    Well, yes I am! And, I used to afraid of the dark in our Cleveland home when I was a kid -- you know, asking mom to look under the bed before I climbed into it!

    What an awesome lens! When I was younger I was never afraid going to the woods at night. Now, after watching the Blair Witch movies it's completely different story. 5* well deserved!
