There are many people among us that believe in ghosts--- Do you?

Do you ever hear things go bump in the night?
Are you awaken by soft voice's in the still of the night? Do you see unexplained mists or shadows that rush along your walls or ceiling in the night? Perhaps you have looked at a photo, and saw something that looked out of place, and felt it may be a ghost?
I have a very good friend that claims she has lead a haunted life. She says she has had many experience's with ghost's. Stating " I have been seeing ghosts for as long as I can remember." She also is very intuitive, and has an uncanny way of predicting the future. Not only worldly occurrences, but she also seems to have an uncanny talent to predict the future of family, and friends.
Most people can tell of a time or two when they have been unnerved by a spooky ghost story. Weather around a dark campfire or perhaps a darkened movie theater? Lets face it, just the thought of seeing a ghost can sent a chill up the spine, of the most skeptic person.
As of late many television networks have picked up on the ghost phenomena, and are producing shows that delve deeply into ghosts, and the different kinds of ghost that haunt. These shows are most often geared toward investigating ghosts, one might say hunting ghost's...
One such show is "Ghost Hunters." Ghost Hunters is a weekly show aired on 
the Sci-Fi channel. It is based on real life ghost hunters going out on the road to investigate sites that are said to be haunted. By day the ghost hunters are normal people, with normal jobs. After work they become are ghost hunters.
By night they visit various sites of haunting's, and with sophisticated equipment, and a team of investigators, they set out mainly to debunk ghost haunting's. As a rule they are successful, and offer logical explanations for the unsettling phenomena that is occurring at any given haunting. But— on rare occasions their investigation's have turned up unexplainable remarkable result. To include filmed footage of apparition's, tape recordings of clear voice phenomena, along with individual experiences.

So what are ghosts? No one truly knows if they exist? There are many vague theories that attempt to define ghosts, many going back hundreds of years. After reviewing and researching the subject of ghosts stories, it is very apparent that there are many people who truly believe in ghost. And it would appear that all ghost are not created equal? Some are friendlier than others...
Ghosts and haunting's seem to be a relatively common part of the human experience. With stories of supernatural experiences pasted down for centuries, we can be sure that our generation is not unique when it comes to experiences with ghosts and haunting's.
And it would appear that there are several types of ghosts or haunting's, and more than one theory may be needed to explain them all.
The traditional view most people have is that ghosts are people that have died, and stuck around for one reason or another in a ghostly form. It is also theory that due to a persons untimely or traumatic death can leaves them in a type of limbo. Not knowing they have died?
Prominent ghost hunter Hans Holzer states, "A ghost is a human being who has passed out of the physical body, usually in a traumatic state, and is not aware usually of his true condition. We are all spirits encased in a physical body. At the time of passing, our spirit body continues into the next dimension. A ghost, on the other hand, due to trauma, is stuck in our physical world and needs to be released to go on."
A Residual haunting or what some ghost hunters call "recordings", are said to be a form of recording of the environment the dead person past from. Where something happened in life that leaves the ghost sort of stuck in time. The spirits energy stays on to replay this experience over and over. This type of ghost as a rule is not aware of the living people around them, and is said to pose no problem to the living?
The most bothersome ghost is that of the Poltergeists. This type of ghost is the most active, and said to be the most feared. It is claimed that a poltergeist ghost has the ability to actually effect the physical world. Poltergeist are said to have the energy to move items, turn electric appliances on, slam doors, and move your possession's from one place to another. Some can also be very mean spirited, causing havoc to the places they haunt. Most supernatural investigator's consider poltergeist to be malevolent demons, and hard to get ride of...
Lets move on to a more friendly ghost, the messenger ghost. The messenger ghost is said to be the most common ghost. A ghost that is earth bound for a short time after their death. It is said they stay close to their loved ones. They are very aware they have died, but stay for a while to comfort the people they left behind. It is said they have the power to appear only briefly, perhaps to deliver a comforting message? The message could be just a comforting measure or a pressing message, on how they may have died?
To a skeptic, ghost do not exist at all. Are there ghosts among us? No one can actually prove ghosts don't exist. To a believer that has had first hand experiences with ghost's, you would be hard pressed to convince them that ghosts don't exist. So one can easily surmise, there are many people among us that do believe in ghost. Haunted people, with haunted lives...

By Sharon Stajda,What are the balls of transparent light we find in photos taken as a rule with a digital camera? I don't actually know, and certainly won't go out on a limb and tell you I do... I don't think anyone truly has the answer to that question? At least not yet. But I must say, I have seen many photo's with these so call anomalies, and it leaves me very curious?
The leading theory for some ghost hunters is that these orbs are spirits, trying to manifest themselves. On the other hand there are as many ghost hunters that disregard the theory, and feel that orbs can be logically disproved, in most cases.
Many times orbs turn out to be dust in the air picked up by the camera. Some believe an orb is the energy being transferred from a source such as power lines, heat energy, batteries, etc. The law of physics tells one that energy being transferred in this manner would most likely assume is natural shape of a sphere.
In my own experience with photography, I for many years used a 35 mm camera. In going through my many photo's, I could not find one with a n orb. There where plenty of red eye shots. On the other hand, I now use a digital camera. In going over my digital photo's, I have discovers a vast number of "orb's". So I tend to thing the digital camera's of today pick up every little unseen speck of dust or what ever?
In closing I will have to admit, I have seen some very striking photo's with numerous orb's, that do make me wonder? I do have an open mind when it comes to orb's. I think thy certainly have a place when investigating a haunting.

Robert --- The Haunted Doll ...
Key West, Florida.It is not that unusual for a young child to have an imaginary friend or two. Often times, we as parents think it cute? A mischievous little friend afoot to take the blame for some minor wrong doing.
In fact there are parents that will claim a good imagination is healthy.
But what happens when the child begins to be torment by the imaginary friend? To the point that the child can not sleep the night through without the friend awaking them to play? What happens when the play becomes ruff, and frightening to the child?
So it goes this is the story of Robert...
The story begins in the home of Mr.and Mrs. Thomas Otto. The year 1896. It was well known the Otto's mistreated there servants and were not the kindest of people. One such servant, that aided in the care of the couples son, Gene, was said to be versed in the ways of voodoo. She for one reason or the other became very displeased with the Otto's, and decided to do something about it.
As the story goes the servant gave Gene a doll. The doll standing three feet tall, and stuffed with straw. With life like features, that were at first very endearing to Gene. He decided to name the doll "Robert".
The doll became a constant companion to Gene. It is said that the Otto's often heard Gene upstairs talking to the doll. This in it self might not have been so bad? The Otto's were puzzled to hear the boy answering himself in an entirely different voice than his own?'
Many Strange things began to occur in the Otto household. Many neighbors claimed to see Robert move about from window to window, when the family were out. Gene began to blame Robert for mishaps that would occur. The Otto's claimed to hear the doll giggle, and swear they caught glimpses of the doll running about the house.---
